Well, I have to say, Elvis Ramon is definitely the best.😍 😍 😍
miss l on the road said:I honestly don't care for those kinds of traditions at all. I don't go to weddings, baptisms, or wakes... I've been to a wedding once in my life, and I can't imagine ever going to one again because the sheer amount of primitivity at those events just drives me crazy.

And I am 100% certain my sister isn't going to end up with a girlfriend, so I'm not worried about that.😉

I totally get that—I actually empathize with you, and maybe even a little bit envy you! There are definitely some social gatherings I’d love to skip if it weren't for the fact that my family would get upset. So far, I haven't attended a single baptism. Yay!
...but then again, there are some events I wouldn't miss for anything, especially the ones that have nothing to do with family.😬 🙂

The absolute worst parts of an American wedding:
1. The little miniature train
2. The live band
3. Those random aunts who don't even know me, yet feel entitled to lecture me about being "past my prime" for marriage—as if every single one of them isn't already busy trying to set up their own niece or nephew...

Nomeansno at a wedding? Where? In Vancouver?

Technically speaking—it was an after-party, not the actual wedding.

But even so... 😍

I know better than to argue with you 😁

But let's find some middle ground: a wedding reception party 😁

My top 5 highlights from my recent trip to the States:

1. Seeing four female singers on stage alongside a massive crowd of queer fans🙂 🙂
2. Watching a heated brawl break out between a drunk, angry guy and someone wielding a flag
3. A bus conductor making Turkish coffee for a driver on the route from Chicago to Indianapolis☕
4. Sadly having such a brief run-in with Gasha (aka truch2), and realizing the club where we play has this exclusive VIP section you can't even touch unless you're part of the "cool" crowd
5. Eating some delicious chopped meat sandwiches with sour cream and onions in downtown Manhattan🙂

Or the opposite—when those distant relatives show up and bug you about why you aren't dancing, claiming there are plenty of single people looking for a match right there on the floor. 🙄

He-he, honestly, at the last wedding I went to, I showed up just a day or an evening too late to catch anything😍 ehm

Anyway, I’ve reached that age where people stop asking me those questions. I guess they've finally given up hope.

I'd also throw the wedding buffet on that list. 😱

But usually, the best part is having great best men and bridesmaids. 😉

By the way, your inbox is blowing up—and I'm still stuck waiting for my new phone to arrive...

Did you settle things with Jimmy?

I haven't agreed to anything yet. I need to figure out how much cash we're talking about before I give you an answer.

Ugh... he’s always lurking on the front page, but clearly he doesn't have pop-ups enabled, so he misses whenever a new PM drops.

I'll be stuck at "work" until 5:00—if you guys reach an agreement before then... let me know.

The absolute worst parts of weddings

1. Everything.

The absolute best parts of weddings

1. When you get hammered and start causing scenes—everything from being handsy with the groomsmen to smashing glasses.🙂

The ultimate list of wedding highlights—some from my own life, some legendary stories...

1. That time Dana Anderson4 leaned right into Tamarin's wedding cake
2. The first time we actually saw Dolgcajt and Dinko perform at Škerin's wedding (can you believe the frontman for Bejbiz was playing weddings? Seriously!)
3. Feko. A real one. Absolute legend. The guy just owns every wedding he walks into...
4. The singer at kristijan's wedding—honestly, we spent about 80% of the night just staring at her. She was stunning.
5. Dancing with my six-year-old niece at my cousin's wedding. 😍
6. Waking up the morning after my brother's wedding while the guys went on and on about all the different ways he’d totaled his car
7. The beer setup at that one wedding—black Gosser and light Budweiser
8. Throwing a flashlight out the window on the drive home from kristijan's wedding (I mean, were waffles flying too?)

I've been to maybe 7 or 8 weddings in my time, and honestly, most of them were pretty great...

1. When ar peka leaned right into Tamarin’s wedding cake

Now you see why I can't stand those types of events. It gets even better when I called over the entire staff, including the venue manager, just to demand more cocktail sausages. Then, crimsonfalcon17 and I made a run for it from a perfectly nice wedding where everyone was just chilling with bad drinks at the local Krka Mill. You should have seen the look on the waitress's face when she saw us fleeing in our blazers with sprigs of rosemary stuck to us. 😁

The "Sugar Cubes" singer (from kristijan's party) 😍

is actually a pretty decent band 😲

Top 3 absolute worst things about weddings (applies to pretty much everywhere):

1. The band
2. The bouquet toss
3. Those "wedding saviors"—you know the type—who corner you and try to force you onto the dance floor because they think you’re just sitting there looking miserable since you don't have a partner. Like, sorry, I'm not lonely, I'm just enjoying my drink. They think they're doing you a favor by "saving" you from solitude. 😵

You can try to glue on a fake beard and call me Elvis if you want, but I was actually at this one party where the band absolutely blew the roof off. It wasn't just that they were tearing through their instruments; they even had brass players wandering around with wireless mics, percussionists, and—most importantly—they brought out a full-on Mex Block!

I find it hard to see those people as anything resembling saviors... 😈

Daniel Bailey7 said:It’s a stretch to call those guys "saviors"... 😈

The thing is, they actually see themselves that way. 😁

I dealt with one of these "professional rescuers" at the last wedding I went to—sat right at my table, too. This guy probably tried to drag me onto the dance floor five different times, yet somehow managed to dance with basically every woman within a 100-yard radius. Apparently, not everyone knew how to just say "no." 😁 On top of all that, he somehow managed to wedge himself into almost every single photo taken. The man definitely knows how to manage his schedule. 🙏
