...hmmmmm...

...this is such a tough one to tackle... mostly because I’m just not really into those typical, sugary "Christmas movies." Don't get me wrong, I can sit through them, but they don't exactly make my heart race...

...though, it would be nice to revisit *Nightmare Before Christmas* (regardless of whether it counts as a holiday flick or not! 🙂 )...

..other than that... I find myself craving those genuine, tender, occasionally heartbreaking—you know, *human*—films that feel like a warm blanket...

...I want those Tykwerr *fairytales*. I could watch "Heaven" on loop, or put on "Princess + Warrior" from sunrise to sunset (I actually caught a glimpse of "Denmark Strait" yesterday—now *that* is a real fairytale... totally surreal and perfect for the season...)...I see someone mentioned "Dead Man Walking" if you're looking for a good cry... or "Punch-Drunk Love" to just soak in romance over and over again 😍 ...plus plenty of Linklater and Van Santa... maybe "Son" (even if he'll never exist 😢 ) so I can experience those massive emotional highs and lows that happen to others, and then bleed into my own life...

...and finally... just wanting to laugh and cry at the same time... maybe while watching... hmmmmm... "Sideways"... or something equally sweet, beautiful, sad, and joyful...

...but clearly, nobody is going to fulfill these specific cravings for me... 😢 so I guess I'll just have to manage on my own... 🙂
