It’s the exact same argument we had about Pizza and meat Pizza. 🙄Ever since I can remember, I've called the potato version Lasagna. I only found out a few years ago that people "actually" make it with eggplant. There is zero chance I'm changing my terminology; if anything, I might just expand it.

Hmm, well. When it comes to Pizza, things get a little complicated. The original Turkish version (which they always seem to mislabel with all those different variations...) isn't really much like the amazing pies we grew up eating here. 😍 It’s kind of the same story with traditional stuffed cabbage rolls, which aren't even made from rice wrapped in grape leaves.
For heaven's sake—Lasagna is what you make with potatoes, Pizza is filled with meat, and nobody makes stuffed cabbage out of freaking grape leaves! 😠 🙂 :2up:

Who even says they’d trade a classic cheese pizza for a pack of Marlboro Reds? Honestly, I don't give a damn what you all think... there, that's my official opinion right there...
da I won't even get started on how that "meat pizza" you guys keep talking about isn't even remotely close to the real deal ( 🙏 ).

It’s actually kind of depressing... I mean, how many people have never even had authentic pizza cooked under a stone oven, you know? Like, real slow-cooked goodness... or even some fresh veggie flatbread straight from the coals...

I actually buried the remains of my potato casserole in a cast-iron skillet down in Phoenix this past Sunday 🙂
...along with whatever scraps of Pizza were left over after everyone else had their fill 😬

Obviously, man. You have to drive all the way to Phoenix just to bulk up because your girl doesn't even know what a moussaka looks like, let alone how to cook one. I've got some extra vacuum cleaner hoses lying around if you need them.
