@ Kevin Chavez3

By the way, how was everything once you got back to Los Angeles?

I haven't heard anything from Hellsonic in the meantime....

Seriously, all that talk about pancakes and whatever else... sounded absolutely revolting. But then my stomach started growling once you guys moved on to those fruit yogurts 😁

And just when I thought I’d dodged a bullet by not having to deal with some heavy casserole, someone brings up moussaka 😒 (that actually kind of rhymed 😬 )

moussaka 😍 😍

Xenophobia β€” ABSOLUTELY NOT

Listening to punk bands really ruins people...

Rolling Stone πŸ™‚

I was just implying it’s impossible to be oblivious to gravy gravy biscuits.

In Los Angeles, they were playing a love song so quietly you could barely hear it. I can't stand this postmodern concept of headphones where you can't hear a damn thing...

Personally, I dug 😈

[Daniel Bailey7 at 3 AM] wait, are the Seattle SuperSonics playing? [/Daniel Bailey7 at 3 AM] 😁

THE MODERATOR HATES THE HIVES!?????????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
B A R E L Y L E G A L hates them!???? That’s like saying you hate the Ramones. You’re absolutely unhinged! They probably got kicked off the Food Network too!

So, things kept going in that review-style tone... it’s a shame, really, because of those restrictions... actually, my only real regret is for Hell. Not a single song was recognizable because everything was so quiet... I just picture him walking home through the empty city streets, lugging his mixer and CDs, thinking to himself... man, I'd rather not know what he's thinking.

The moderator couldn't care less about The Hives, yet they’re clearly annoyed that The New Bomb Turks opened for as the opening act for those overrated Scandinavian posers...

And he thinks, "Well, if nothing else, at least I can still brag about having a backpack full of bands that nobody besides me has ever even heard of... Bwahahahahahah!" 😈

Hellsonic 😍

So, things just continued in that review-style tone... quite a shame, really, given those limitations... actually, my only true regret is regarding Hellsonic; not a single track was recognizable because the volume was so incredibly low... I can just picture him later, lugging his mixer and those CDs home through the empty city streets... thinking to himself... ugh, honestly, I'd rather not know what he's thinking.
πŸ™‚

Wait, didn't they fix his mixer?
Later on, Hellsonic was asking if it might be better to set up the listening session on Sunday afternoons instead.

(And NBT opening for The Hives??? Look, Die Allright is one of my absolute favorites, and The Hives aren't bad either, but NBT opening for The Hives is a stretch.πŸ˜•)

I only eat pancakes with sweet stuffβ€”meat, cheese, whatever goes into lasagna. Garfield wasn't crazy, after all.

THE NEW BOMB TURKS DIED OUT A CENTURY AGO... AND THAT BARELY LEGAL BAR SCENE WITH DESTROY-OH-BOY WAS SOMETHING ELSE!! They were definitely better than Information and basically everything else that came after... The only thing they couldn't beat was Pissin Out The Poison (that sucker punch version πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ )... Though I don't think people really went crazy for that last one... still, better than the later Turks stuff.

Top 5 The Hives tracks:

2. Album Tracklist
3. Album Tracklist
4. Album Tracklist
5. Album Tracklist

4. feed the enemy
5. about the weather
6. motorcade

9. cut-out shapes
10. definitive gaze

p.s.
I honestly can't imagine pancakes without some melted Brieβ€”you absolute heathen, pairing it with something sweet...
probably just because I'm the only one making them in my house.
