Word on the street is that they serve some pretty decent gyro and falafel over at a spot called Zorba the Greek—it’s tucked away in a certain Small town in rural America. It's quite a bit of a trek to get there... but then again, maybe it would be worth the drive just to give it a shot. 🙂

and honestly, same here (always at work)—so I actually put in some effort and read the whole thing. It wasn't exactly a walk in the park, either.
So now, what I'm stuck on is that typical high school question: "what was the author trying to say?" I’ve never been great at this kind of deep analysis, but for some reason, I can't let it go. Basically, once we strip away all the filler (which is like 90% of the text), cranky Angelo is just trying to explain two things:
1. People on internet forums hide behind anonymous handles to insult and criticize the world around them. Which isn't cool. How do you fight it? Join in! And not just with one handle, but with two different ones. But after getting called out (not that it matters since the guy uses very, uh, *specific* linguistic patterns), LineaCasa mocks the whole Copernican reversal and pivots to point number one:
2. It's totally fine to insult people and talk absolute nonsense on forums if I—get this, ME—am the one doing it. Because I'm supposedly way above all that bottom-of-the-barrel garbage that "weaklings" deal with, so I just provoke them and then, teehee, enjoy their reactions, blah blah blah.

What else is there to say that Wrong hasn't already covered? Talk about a massive ego disorder.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a long-winded essay about this exact thread penned by him soon, probably along the lines of "See? Told you so..."

Anyway, help a clueless guy out: what exactly is a falafel? 😕

It doesn't bother me that he thinks he's smarter than everyone else—he's certainly not the first or the last to think that. What bothers me is that he isn't even bothered by his own behavior, or the fact that it's absolutely terrible. He actually enjoyed it.

I’d be doing some serious thinking if taking an evolutionary step backward, like he describes in that first paragraph, gave me as much pleasure as he claims it does in the second and third. Pathetic, sad, sick, and miserable.
