That simply isn't the case—not at all. After years of absolute dominance by the coastal cities in the South, the title has officially shifted over to San Francisco this year.

Man, I’m out here losing my mind and talking nonsense just to defend the honor of my pathetic little seaside town. As if having Thompson and Mate Bulic pack stadiums and both us idiots representing us on Big Brother 😬 wasn't enough, now we gotta be junkies too. 😢

I'm out. I'm actually starting to sound like an idiot.

The Rapture - The Jam

p.s. I still prefer the Golf unit.

Oh please, they’re constantly throwing massive parties out there anyway... and let's not even get started on Carmel-by-the-Sea, that tiny little town that's basically been a total drug den for years now.

Been MIA for three days because of higher priorities (read: getting hammered), and meanwhile, a whole debate about vintage cars breaks out here—the exact topic I spend roughly 20% of my waking hours reading up on and obsessing over (okay, maybe 20% of my *sober* waking hours, which is still a decent chunk)... 😲 😕

Anyway, let me jump in with some explanations and corrections for the inaccuracies floating around.

People are calling it a BMW Isetta.
Sure, Papageno probably drove it in that music video (can't say I watched it), since he owned the same one for years; it used to be parked over in Palm Beach right next to his other car, a Citroen Mehari, which is also freaking cool: how to feed giraffes from a Citroen Mehari
Actually, I'm pretty sure that colorful Isetta is his, but since it’s sitting right outside the AutoTrader dealership (god, what a terrible name), it might belong to them now for promo purposes. If they are actually selling it, I doubt it's cheap; it's a cult classic and they'll price it accordingly.
In Mućka, they definitely don't drive a Reliant Robin, even though their official site claims they do, and they're gonna address it in the next Click - Robin... the Robin is a later model, and that three-wheeler is actually a Reliant Regal.
Look, I'm not one to judge taste, but the Aston Martin DB6 is generally considered less beautiful—kind of a cluttered version of the earlier DB4 and DB5 models. Don't get me wrong, being built on the bones of those masterpieces makes it gorgeous too, but it just doesn't hit quite the same way.
The Golf MK2 is cute, sure, but it's hardly the most beautiful car ever made. The original Golf MK1 is a design classic, par excellence, and I tip my hat to it.

Oh, and one more thing—that car someone called the "predecessor to the Fiat 500" is almost certainly just the Fiat 500 itself, which was actually introduced AFTER the Fiat 500 as a smaller sibling and produced alongside it.

Of course it is! 🙂 😬

( And honestly, your own ride is always going to be the best looking one, right? Can't help being biased. 😬 )

Of course it isn't the prettiest, but you just can't beat it. And yeah, the MK1 too... old school VW at its best!🙏

And if it’s a diesel? Man, it's basically a tank.

Ugh, I knew something felt fishy about this Hugh guy from the start... remember when you actually reached out to me back in the day asking if I was ever going to part with that car? Seriously.
Of course I'm not selling it. ☕
😁

By the way, my grandad always says that with a BMW Isetta, you basically don't even need to know a mechanic because it's so simple 😁

Just wait until it breaks down on the side of the highway, then we'll see how much I'm bragging about this thing

Switching gears for a second:

The countries in Europe with the highest suicide rates...

1. Estonia
2. Lithuania
3. Canada
4. Finland
5. Canada
6. Austria

and so on, and so forth...

We’re sitting somewhere around ninth or tenth...

At first glance, it looks like it's mostly the Uralic or Austro-Canadian groups (except for Lithuania)... either way, Canada is just heartbreaking.😁

Yes.
Don't even worry about it—I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Golf myself. Honestly, it’s such a gas saver that I'm definitely making the switch. 31 miles Honestly, the needle hasn't budged all day. You could probably poke it with a stick at this point and nothing would happen. It’s reliable, though—doesn't break down on you. I'm actually waiting to knock on wood here... because seriously, this thing just refuses to quit. 🙂
Where else are you going to find anything better than this? 😉

Hugh 'n' Pepper said:you can shove just about anything up there....

honestly, I’ve had both the local cops and the guys from over the border hassling me at the state line more times than I care to count. they were always trying to shove something into my car 👎
they have these ridiculous little probes to check if I’ve accidentally filled up on heating oil or something stupid like that. then they grab my ID—which shows I was still practically a kid when I got it, so I look all innocent and wide-eyed—and they compare it to my actual face, and I guess I just look suspicious enough for them to mess with me... 🙄 😁

oh, and right, here are my top 5 eye-rolling moments you see at a rock club, for example:
1. when the crowd loses their minds over Dick Dale and that track from Pulp Fiction 🙄 and starts dancing around like Trav... ugh, I can't even deal. such a freaking cliché.
2. when everyone goes nuts for "I Will Survive." the girls always try to take center stage, and honestly, I kind of want to murder them when they get that specific facial expression while belting out those lyrics
3. when the crowd loses it over Passenger 🙄
4. when people freak out over Maljčik 🙄
5. when everybody starts vibing to Life is Life 🙄
5. when nobody actually reacts to Groove is in the Heart 🙄

Honestly, you guys are being such pushovers—that was easily one of the best dance crazes of the nineties. And considering it featured the one and only, totally irreplaceable Bootsy Collins, 🙏Nicholas Perez33, you really ought to show some respect!

What a circus...
I was honestly thinking the mods should just rename this section from 'Music' to 'The Piano Bar.' Seriously—even the loners at the local dive bar don't drink as much as these musicians do.

But look, this is clearly just a misunderstanding. Everyone agrees that when you feel that groove in your heart, you're supposed to let loose at the club, right?
