Honestly, this win is a much bigger deal for him than anything involving Ana Đerek🙏🙏

Unbelievable 🙏
I was just reading an interview with him in ESPN yesterday where he mentioned that landing a medal would basically guarantee him a lifetime pension. And he's only 21, if I remember correctly 🙂

Way to go, genius! 🙏 🙏

Tim 🙏🙏🙏🙏 is still the youngest in his event

I just realized that Samir Saïd took 4th on the rings—missing bronze by a mere 0.008—and this is the same guy who suffered that broken leg back at the Rio Games 🙏🙏
In the vault, the gap between gold and silver was basically nothing, just 0.001 😲

Let's dust this thread off for a bit.🙂
Tim Srbić is back in the finals at the World Championships in Chicago today.
He qualified in third place, which pretty much guarantees him a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics.👍

Individual apparatus finals start at 1 PM, airing live on ESPN starting at 2:15 PM.
Tim's final is scheduled last, probably somewhere around 4 PM.
He’s competing first in his rotation.

That was a phenomenal performance. It’s just a shame his success got overshadowed by yesterday’s qualifying match.

Hello, everyone. I am looking for some guidance regarding gymnastics training in either San Francisco or Savannah. My intention is to take up gymnastics primarily to improve my back health and overall physical well-being, but I am having a difficult time locating any suitable clubs online; most of the results seem to be exclusively geared toward children.
Does anyone know if there are facilities that cater to adults approaching thirty?
Furthermore, are there any organized street workout groups or similar communities that accept beginners?

Thank you very much.

Even before things kicked off, the SP in Seattle was already a total mess. Honestly, the Americans just couldn't handle the massive task they took on. Athletes were stuck in pretty crappy hotels that the national federations ended up paying a fortune for. Teams are being shuttled between training facilities and meal spots via taxis, and during those first few days, people were just sitting around waiting for hours. It was a circus—nations were losing their minds, and some were even threatening to pull out entirely...

- We're stuck here in a 14-day quarantine, so we can't really go anywhere outside the hotel. It's just the hotel, the gym, and the dining hall, which basically feels like another gym. We're wasting so much time just commuting to practice, but I guess everyone's in the same boat. We were all pretty shocked by the accommodations when we arrived; they put us up in these bizarre hotels, but there wasn't much we could do about it. As for the food... there's something edible for everyone. Portions are tiny, but you can just grab seconds, so it's fine. Breakfast is the absolute worst part, though. That’s what’s really killing us, but we'll get through it, Zwicker said.

I read somewhere that the president of Fig is actually from the same area where the World Championships are being held, which makes total sense as a choice.😁
The Russians were complaining quite a bit about the equipment since they’re using a different manufacturer than the one used during the 2020 Summer Olympics, and they mentioned the floor exercise was particularly rough.
The women have already wrapped up their qualifying rounds, while the men have theirs scheduled for today and tomorrow. Finals start this Thursday, beginning with the All-Around followed by the individual events.

Not seeing much action here, but if there are any experts on this topic, I have a few questions. Specifically, I'm looking for the right English terms for some things I can't quite figure out how to translate. I haven't found any answers yet—maybe they don't even exist since people usually just stick to the English terms—but I really want this translation to be top-notch. It’s for a gymnastics series, and I've already reached out to USA Gymnastics and a few other places. We can chat here or via PM.

Thanks.

Could I get some advice from an experienced coach here? Is training for two hours every single day too much for a four-year-old girl? Her coach is pushing for it because she clearly has talent, but I'm honestly not sure if that’s just too much for someone so little. Any thoughts? Thanks

The 51st Gymnastics World Championships kicked off in Liverpool yesterday! It’s been an incredible start, and I'm really looking forward to today, as the women's qualifying rounds are officially underway.
As for the men, their qualifiers are happening tomorrow. On the NFL roster, we have five athletes ready to go: Ude, Srbić, Benović, and Furač.
And young Kukuljan Frleta.
Of course, our most serious heavy hitter is Srbić. He hasn't quite hit his usual stride this year, mostly because he’s had to deal with some constant adjustments.
I’m putting in some extra training sessions lately because of those new rules that kicked in on January 1st, 2022. It's a bit of a hurdle, but honestly? I have high hopes that things will actually run much smoother once we get into the NFL.
Even though we aren't seeing any presence from Rus at the Masters Invitational or the EP, the competition is still incredibly fierce. It’s being led by the Olympic squad, and they are looking seriously strong.
With Hashimot taking the lead as the clear frontrunner here, we’ve also got the American, Malone, and the Chinese contender all in the mix.
With folks like Boheng and that Brazilian guy Souz...

Here is the upcoming schedule:

October 29th & 30th – Women’s Q session.
October 31st – Men’s Q&A session.

1.11 - Women’s Team Finals
2.11-Team Finals-Men's Division

March 11th — The AA Season Finale: Women’s Division
The 4.11-AA finale—Men's division.

The finals for the Men's and Women's events on November 5th and 6th are officially set! I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Simone Biles wrapped up the season with another rough outing, finishing just 46th in the qualifiers with a
score of 13.200 (D-5.700, E-7.500). He had one major blunder, but even if he hadn't,
it would have been an uphill battle to make the finals because his difficulty score is just too low compared to the rest of the field.
On a brighter note, Ude put on a stellar performance and successfully qualified for his new pommel horse final this Saturday.
The unknown athlete also delivered a very strong floor routine, scoring a 14.266 to land
in 11th place—though a 0.2 deduction unfortunately kept him out of the finals.

The first finals of the day are coming up, starting with the women's team competition at 6:30 PM.
