Women drummers

Donna Cherico from Des Moines and Courtney Love from Seattle are just a few examples to get us started.

But then again, those are all-female bands.
I find it even more compelling when you have a female drummer holding it down in a mixed group.

Even guys like Prince or Kid Rock have had talented women on drums in their backing bands.

They played once out in some suburb near Columbus or maybe Dayton, I can't remember. It’s such a shame she doesn’t have more time to get behind the kit. I truly believe the world needs way more drummers and a whole lot fewer laptops. 😬 🙂
