Starting a band in Bend?

I laid out my own musical tastes and shared my personal take on the band in that thread but I never once tried to tell anyone else they couldn't enjoy whatever they want!!!

Meanwhile, some of you "experts" at the top of this thread acted like scavengers—just waiting for any excuse to shut down a young person's passion for making music. That’s honestly just messed up!

p.s. I don't owe any of you an explanation, so unless this conversation actually starts heading in a constructive direction, I'm out! 🙂

I mean, there are ALWAYS better options 😉 like some "alternative" reggae-dub band 😁

😁 Honestly, I don't know. I've met plenty of them—some are alright, some are total losers—but I'd never go so far as to call them pretentious... I'm not even sure what specifically you're getting at here.😉

It doesn't even matter who’s listening or what setlist they play. The main thing is just getting together, playing, and having a blast! You can iron out the details later. I say go for it—you can find a decent crew for a band without much trouble, you just have to know where to look 😁

Could you please point me in the right direction? I could really use a drummer 😁
