Do you exercise? Stick to non-GMO produce?
Do you use vitamin-infused creams? Drink milk every morning? Have daily intimacy with your partner to keep your skin glowing 😉? Or maybe just laugh a lot
? An apple a day? In bed before midnight every night?.......

Whatever you do to stay healthy and energized, lay it out here.

Here’s my routine...

I drink a glass of milk every single morning. I can't function without it. Actually, make that a quart a day. Oops.

I rollerblade. It keeps me happy.

I laugh plenty because the people I hang out with are actually decent.

I aim for eight hours of sleep, sometimes more—up to ten on weekends. Some might say that's lazy, but I get things done faster when I'm rested.

I watch what I eat. No canned meat or processed junk where you can't tell what's actually inside. 😉

Honestly, optimism is my biggest health hack. On a spring morning, I look up at the sky and just think: man, I'm glad to be alive, healthy, and able to see all this beauty. That thought triggers whatever chemicals are responsible for a good mood, and the rest of my day stays bright. 🙂

Then there's the longevity question. My friend's grandmother lived forever, and she swears it's because she never stayed up past midnight in her entire life. So, who knows...

Your turn...
🙂

Regrettably, I haven’t been making much of an impact lately...

I do consume a significant amount of milk—just shy of a quart every day 😬 )
and I make a conscious effort to unwind and find some fun whenever possible, if only to maintain my sanity...
But that is essentially it...

I am holding onto the hope that moving to a new city will finally allow me to turn things around for the better. 😉

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m one of those people who takes my health completely for granted—right up until the moment I actually get sick, at which point I spend most of my time kicking myself for being so reckless... 😁
By the way, what’s the deal with all this talk about milk? Is it supposed to be a superfood or a total toxin? There’s an entire thread going around about how detrimental dairy is, which is honestly devastating news for me because I physically cannot function without my daily fix of chocolate cereal.... 🙂

By the way, what's the deal with all this talk about whether milk is good or bad for you? There’s already an entire thread debating how harmful it is, which is honestly devastating news for me since I can't survive a single day without my morning bowl of Cocoa Puffs. 🙂

Everything becomes toxic if you consume too much of it... 😉

Actually, getting extra sleep is fine.
The thing is, your metabolism plays a huge role in how you feel.
Take people with high metabolisms; they can probably bang out six hours and feel totally fine. But if yours is slower, even eight hours might leave you feeling like garbage.
That's why you gotta kickstart your metabolism through exercise and just staying active.

(quick edit 😉 ):
... I need a glass of Gatorade every single morning just to function...

... I go for long drives to clear my head; it keeps me sane...

... I laugh whenever I get the chance 😁... not that it’s an issue, since I’ve got great, kind people in my circle....

... I aim for six hours of sleep a night, sometimes more (especially on weekends when I hit the 7 or 8-hour mark)

... I try to watch what I eat... though I still indulge in canned meat or processed stuff where you can't really tell what's actually inside 😁

... I avoid greasy foods, drink a glass of milk after lunch every day, run occasionally, and quit smoking five years ago—though I slipped up again recently, I'm back to quitting as of a few days ago :Proud:
... So yeah... that's pretty much it. 😁

- Are you active?
I run almost every day, hit the pool once a week, and do Pilates two or three times weekly.

- Do you stick to non-GMO produce?
I try. I usually just sneak some stuff from my grandma's garden.

- Do you use vitamin-infused creams?
The ones with Vitamin C, Q10... things like that.

- Is milk part of your morning routine?
Every single morning. And at night, plus always after a run.

- Do you get intimate with your partner daily to keep your skin glowing?😉
😁 😁 😁

- Do you laugh often?
A lot. That’s probably why I have so many laugh lines.

- Do you eat an apple every day?
Not a fan of apples. I much prefer oranges, berries, apricots, grapes, or figs.

- Do you make it to bed before midnight?.......
That’s where I fail. I rarely make it before midnight—often even later—and I still wake up around 6 AM. I have to use the weekends to recharge.

I try to enjoy the little things and not let life get under my skin. When it does, I just go for a run and feel like myself again.😉

- do you opt for non-GMO fruits and veggies?
I try my best; I usually just end up "borrowing" some from my grandma’s garden.

- do you use vitamin-infused creams?
Yes, things with Vitamin C and CoQ10...

- do you have milk every single morning?
Every morning, and definitely in the evening after a run.

- do you enjoy intimacy with your partner daily to keep that glow?😉
😁 😁 😁

- do you laugh often?
All the time—which explains why I have so many laughter lines.

- do you eat an apple every day?
Apples aren't really my thing; I live for oranges, berries, apricots, grapes, and figs.

- do you make sure to get to bed before midnight?.......
That’s where I fall short. It’s almost never before midnight, sometimes even later, yet I’m up by 6 AM. I rely on the weekends to fully recharge.

I try to appreciate the little things and refuse to let life get under my skin; if someone does manage to rattle me, I just go for a run and come back feeling like a new person.😉

You are a total inspiration...
I really ought to follow that routine myself. 👍

Do you use those vitamin-infused lotions? Is there a glass of milk in your morning routine? Do you find time for intimacy with your partner every single day just to keep that complexion glowing 😉? Do you laugh enough?
Do you eat an apple daily? Do you make sure to hit the sack before midnight every night?.......

Feel free to list anything else you believe contributes to your health and vitality.

I’ve taken up running. I walk quite a bit. I even do stretching exercises at home—it’s a late start on the fitness front, but better late than never, right? 😉.

I don't smoke. I've quit drinking entirely.
I avoid fatty foods; as for GMOs, they aren't even an option for me. I stay hydrated (milk is a rare exception, but I easily clear 1.5 liters of water a day).

I always wear an undershirt to protect my kidneys and bladder from catching a chill. I try to dress warmly—and let's be honest, even when the sun is out, the wind can be absolutely brutal.

I laugh constantly; it's just how I am. I also volunteer—it provides a sense of fulfillment and happiness. It makes me feel better overall.
I surround myself with upbeat people. I have no patience for chronic pessimists.

I consume plenty of vegetables, specifically carrots and leafy greens. Fruit intake is a bit more sporadic, but I manage. 🙂

Anyway, if I think of anything else, I'll add it later. 🙂

Great topic. 👍

I just can't get used to wearing an undershirt!!! I wear sweaters, tees, button-downs... basically anything straight on my skin without one... 😢
but I do wear double socks. 😉

Sarah Gomez52 said:I simply cannot get used to wearing an undershirt. Is it too much to ask? I find myself constantly reaching for sweaters, T-shirts, button-downs—honestly, just about anything—and wearing them directly against my skin. Why bother with that extra layer? It feels unnecessary, cumbersome, and frankly, quite irritating. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just being difficult? 😢
But I’m wearing double socks. 😉

Listen to me, dear—you can pile on all the double socks you want, but that isn't going to save you once the draft hits. What good is extra wool when the chill starts crawling right up your spine? 😉

Listen, you really ought to be careful; you don't want to end up paying for this later. Honestly, it makes my stomach turn just seeing how most girls these days walk around with their midriffs and backs completely exposed. Is anyone actually thinking about the consequences? I know firsthand—and believe me, I know it all too well—what it feels like to be bedridden with a 102-degree fever and kidney pains so intense you can't even shift an inch under the covers. It’s a mistake you only make once. 😢

And then there’s the kicker. The absolute cherry on top of this medical nightmare. Do you know what else the doctor had the audacity to tell me? That I have "potential." Not potential for success, or happiness, or even just a decent life—no. I have the distinct, looming potential to become a chronic kidney failure patient by the time I hit thirty. Or, if that doesn't kill me first, the possibility of never being able to have children at all. Isn't that just wonderful? Is there any limit to how much one person can be told about their own inevitable decline? 😢

What choice do I really have left but to look out for myself? It’s a fool's errand to think anything else will. What good is a heavy sweater or some thick long-sleeved shirts if I haven't even bothered with an undershirt? Is there any point in all that extra layering if the foundation isn't there? No. Not one bit.

Angela Flores76 said:Honey, double socks won't save you once a chill hits your spine and settles in.😉

Seriously, watch out so you don't end up with issues down the road. It honestly bothers me seeing how many girls these days walk around with bare midriffs and exposed backs. Personally, I know all too well what it's like to be stuck in bed with a 102-degree fever and kidney pains so bad you can't even move.😢

Plus, after my doctor mentioned I might be at risk for chronic kidney issues or even fertility problems later on,😢

I realized I have no choice but to be careful. A sweater or a long sleeve doesn't mean much if I'm not wearing an undershirt underneath...

I know, I know...
but it's not my bare back or stomach I'm worried about. I stay covered! I always tuck my shirt into my pants.
And as for age, I'm slightly over 30. 😁

And as far as age goes, I'm just slightly north of 30. 😁

But honestly, who can say? You never truly know when life is going to throw a curveball at you, regardless of how old you are. I just hope it doesn't happen to me.🙂
