Do you drink tap water?

At work, they’re serving flat Coca-Cola... honestly, who's actually paying for all that carbonation anyway?😁

So what, you're telling me the water coming out of the tap at work is different from the stuff you have at home?

In NYC, the water tastes totally flat even when I pray to the Holy Spirit for some flavor, so I just buy bottled.
When I was living in ZD, I used to buy water constantly because it’s hands down the worst stuff I've ever tasted.
Over in ST, though, it's actually decent... maybe it's just habit, but it's freezing cold—if you let it run for a second, you'll be shivering.😁

At work, I usually just grab some Mississippi from those big American vending machines.😎

Oh, and lately, we've been filling up jugs with water from Zvečaj at his grandma's place. Mmmm, so good.👍

I’m the same way. I stick to bottled water at the office because the pipes are so old and rusty that the water is basically full of junk. At home, though, I just use the tap; the taste is fine, I just run it through an Atlanta filter because the limescale buildup is just ridiculous.

Water quality in Chicago depends entirely on which neighborhood you're in, but honestly, I don't care if people want to drink "sterile" water or whatever.
At my job, we can drink bottled water whenever we feel like it, and coffee is basically unlimited—milk included. Same goes for all the different teas, various juices, or those fizzy vitamin tablets. The only thing we aren't technically supposed to touch is the soda, since that's reserved for the VIP guests, but hey, if you're sneaky enough, anything goes.

Things used to be better... back when you could actually find something decent to grab for a quick snack or just to take the edge off. Nowadays, it's all about quantity over quality. Whatever...☕

Betty Rivera14, honestly, making Nescafé with water from Atlanta tastes completely different than just using regular tap water. I’m not saying this to be difficult or picky—though I get why you might think that based on how you asked—but I noticed a massive difference the very first time I tried it.
My husband drinks a ton of green tea, and even he says the flavor is way smoother this way. I used to hate green tea, but now? I actually find myself grabbing a cup every now and then.
Plus, the best part is I don't have to deal with scrubbing limescale out of my kettle anymore. It just... doesn't build up. At all.
I'd really love to hear what other people using Atlanta think. Do you guys notice the difference too?

But I don't really drink water straight anyway, so I guess it doesn't even matter.

Those particles might just be tiny air bubbles. You probably shouldn't worry too much about them. Personally, I never drink anything straight from the tap unless I've run it through a filter (like an Atlanta filter)!

An Atlanta filter might help reduce things like chloride, heavy metals, or organic matter... but I suspect it won't really touch the limescale!

Oh, it definitely can! If you boil some water straight from the tap and let the pot dry out, it’ll be covered in white residue. When I use filtered water, that doesn't happen at all.🙏

Seattle water was always top-tier. Now I’m stuck in NYC dehydrating 😬 because the tap water here is absolute garbage. I can't get used to this taste.

Maybe it's just me, but I can drink tap water fine here in my hometown, yet whenever I travel to some other US city, I can't touch their tap water because it tastes like chemicals. I guess it's just how things are. 🙂 It’s just a habit, I guess.

I'm just sipping on tap water. I guess the water here in Chicago tastes pretty good because of all those minerals it's got 😁. It’s just a habit, really. Been doing it since I was a kid.

I haven't touched a single tonic water in about a year and a half—not since I finally picked up some Squiviki. Honestly, he's even been treating me to sodas lately! 😍
