I saw them play in Chicago about four years ago—full lineup, too—and it cost me like $33

Does anyone remember how much tickets cost when they first played in Washington, D.C.? Wasn't the price pretty much the same back then? Or am I just losing my mind...

Fifteen years ago, I would’ve jumped at the chance to drive all the way to Chicago just to catch a show. Nowadays? I can barely face a trip to Washington, D.C. It’s not even that the new records aren't hitting the spot, it’s just... I don't know, I'm not really feeling the whole sitting in Carnegie Hall thing anymore. Without a full band, the sweat, the crowd jumping around... it just feels off.

And regarding the title, my old cassette actually says "Nikola Pecina and Evil Sprout"😁

Look, Carnegie Hall is in a league of its own; you don't just find cheap tickets there. Honestly, I expected a bit more from this lineup.

I just hope it doesn't devolve into some pretentious "artistic" poetry reading accompanied by a piano and an acoustic guitar.
