Not really... if they were playing a venue three times this size.

Besides, they're already pulling off two shows.

I can't help but think back to that mysterious moment when Nikita suddenly decided he wasn't interested in playing with the ERH orchestra ever again.
What on earth happened to change his mind so abruptly? 🙂

...like, imagine Brigadier General Ivan Tolj doing a whole set of his poetry, with DJ Duke backing him up on the guitar...😁

What happened to make him change his mind? 🙂

...probably because someone promised to send Ante Batinović to the Hague for crimes against humanity via journalism...😂

If we're talking about Batinović—remember me from that hotel in New York City?—then Arsen Im probably gets his visa to the Hague too. It’s one of those lingering questions that keeps Oremović on his toes. 😬

Look, whatever it costs, it costs.😍
By the way, the last concert in Chicago was back in '97. I was somewhere in the third row on the left.🙂

The performer isn't three times more expensive. 😁 It’s not going to be triple the price, but it’ll definitely cost a lot more than this.

I’m positive Batinović will be right there in the front row... ☕

Uh, I think someone already beat me to it by mentioning Nick Cave being the exclusive ambassador for this part of the States...

Those two must be incredibly close!

Just thinking back to that interview Nikita did on stage in New York City with Metallica... 👎 🙂

That interview with a visibly twitchy Cave was even more painful to watch...

Just waiting to jump in and ask if his kids actually listen to his music. 😁 🙄

Heading there with my dad 😁 Love the guy, he actually got me hooked on this kind of music 🙂

Got free rides, a ticket, and dinner covered. 😁

Missed him once when he played in Denver. Not happening again.

🙂

Anyone know if the setlist is mostly stuff from the new album, or should I expect some old school classics too?

The official website isn't saying a single word about this concert—and if I’m not mistaken, tickets are supposedly hitting the market as early as this week!
Maybe nothing has even been officially finalized yet, I guess.

...June 16th and 17th, 2005. Nick Cave, Martin P. Casey, Warren Ellis, and Jim Sclavunos playing at the Hollywood Bowl... tickets were like 850 bucks total...

...man, screw dates and my terrible memory, Nine Inch Nails was playing in Chicago on the 14th...😠

Had the worst dream about a concert 😱 Just crowds of kids and long-haired rockers everywhere. No sitting allowed. Everyone was jumping around and screaming—it was a nightmare. Cave was performing "Red Right Hand" but I couldn't remember any of the lyrics 😢

Really hoping it’s true that reality is the opposite of your dreams. If so, this show’s gonna be legendary 🙂

There were kids and long-haired rockers everywhere... back when reality actually felt like the opposite of a dream.

Exactly—it’s just going to be a parade of full-blown fossils, the elites, and the usual political vultures... 😁
