Honestly, the only thing that really weighs on my mind when I browse that site is seeing so many of our talented guys—I mean, almost all the moderators—working themselves to the bone just to fuel someone else's lifestyle while they live the high life offshore... Look, swiftdriver8, with all due respect, you have absolutely no clue what’s actually going on over there or how the money flows, so don't start acting tough about it. 😉
Secondly, I think I know exactly who you're aiming at. Let me tell you, I walked away from American betting boards and those old regional forums after a specific incident with one particular site—I won't name names here. I'm not interested in playing the blame game regarding who was right or wrong back then; the point is, that forum is falling apart now, which proves my earlier points about the lack of quality were spot on.

Our local forums are never going to reach that level of strength, and there are several reasons why:

1) International forums have a massive edge because they have local members who can give them real-time intel on what’s happening in Denmark, Sweden, Ukraine, Canada, Austria, and so on.

2) The mentality of the people in our local community is just different. You get way more people showing up with posts like "100% lock, guaranteed winners, inside info," rather than the guys who actually have a structured long-term strategy, discipline, a betting system, and proper bankroll management (basically a dedicated gambling fund). You can pick up knowledge and experience over time, but changing a mindset? That's a much harder hill to climb.

3) Then there's the whole issue of private, closed groups—there are dozens of them in the US. Most of the real intel regarding the major leagues, MLS, or any high-quality bets stays tucked away in those circles. As long as this phenomenon exists—where people post on two different platforms: one public and one private, saving their best picks for the closed group so the US bookies don't react to the hype—there will never be the right conditions for a powerhouse public forum to thrive.
