Listen up, bettors...
I've got a question.

Does anyone here know if online sportsbooks have a habit of blocking or just straight-up sabotaging user accounts after someone hits a big win?

Thanks.

I can't say I know for sure, but I do know you're going to get BANNED the second Tomi sees this. 👎

Is anyone here actually using Dimes, BetJamaica, BetUS, or similar sites? I'm wondering if it's actually possible to place bets with them—and if so, what the process looks like. Also, are there any commissions involved? I'm thinking specifically about the mt

Why even bother asking in a separate thread? I wasn't posting on the main sportsbook boards before, so who knows. Just delete the topic already.

Anyone here actually used FanDuel online?
Positive or negative, I don't care...

Look, none of those big-name online books—aside from our "local" favorites like DraftKings and FanDuel—offer MT. As for how you go about the whole thing, just use the search bar; this stuff has been laid out clearly more times than I can count.

🙄
The rules are pretty much universal—it doesn't matter if you're in the DraftKings subforum or not.
There was already an entire thread dedicated to online betting right here on this page, yet you're out here trying to start a whole new one. 🤷

Hey there,

I’m looking to connect with someone who has some funds sitting in their Neteller account that they might be willing to transfer over to mine... I can pay you back via PayPal, plus I'll throw in a decent little bonus for the trouble...

Shoot me a DM. 😉

I've got a quick question about this whole new law situation. If someone has already answered this, sorry, I probably just missed it somewhere. Is it actually illegal now to bet online, like on something like Unibet, or is there a chance that Unibet or some other sportsbook is actually registered right here in the States so the law doesn't even apply to them?

So, if I were to put down $2333 and my total payout ends up being 30 $0.00, would I have to pay taxes to the government on that full amount, or do I skip that part since my actual profit is only 23,000, and those 7,000 don't really count because it was my own money I put in to begin with?

The law is just plain stupid and vague, and honestly, it clashes with USA regulations too. Since we're basically stepping right into the USA, you might as well be careful—just don't move huge sums through a personal account unless you want the IRS breathing down your neck. I guess it might be smarter to open an account in Austria instead; here’s a breakdown of how to handle that: http://www.thpkr.com/savjeti/savjet-...opcenito/3295/ for those looking for free picks http://kladionica.biz/category/analize/

Noah Davis55, thanks man, that's huge. So I guess there’s really no point in messing around with Moneybookers then, since my sportsbook withdrawals just land straight on the card without any drama.
Just let me know which specific type of card I should be looking for over in Austria.

You can look for a VIS since they allow payouts that way, but you could also just go straight to a bank account or use Moneybookers to hit an Austrian bank account... honestly, you have whatever option you want. It’s a good way to bypass our lovely little surveillance state, though obviously, if we're talking massive amounts of money; if it's just a few hundred Federal Reserve dollars a month, nobody is going to bother asking questions here in the States.

So, I read somewhere that once I get the card, I don't even have to physically go into the bank anymore. I'm thinking I could probably just use online banking from my Chase account to load it up or whatever.
And as for getting the cash out, I'll probably just hit up an ATM, since I guess that's the easiest way to keep the government from seeing the money flow.
Also, is that VISA account held in foreign currency or...?

And how am I supposed to withdraw cash? Probably just hit an ATM, since that’s likely the only way to keep the government from seeing that money.

The VISA is in Federal Reserve, which counts as foreign currency for us but it's local money for people in Austria, so obviously once you have the card you can pull cash from ATMs or pay for things all over the world; that kind of stuff is pretty much common knowledge at this point...

Noah Davis55 said:Since VISA is in USD, it's basically foreign currency for us, though I guess for people over in Europe it's just their everyday cash, so obviously if you've got a card, you can pretty much pull money from ATMs or pay for stuff anywhere in the world... it's all pretty common knowledge at this point, I suppose.

Fair enough, but when it comes to actually depositing, I could probably just transfer funds directly to that account using my online banking. I'm just wondering if I deposit dollars and they automatically convert it to USD, or if I actually have to send the specific amount in USD—though I'm not totally sure if my local banks even let you send transfers in USD like that.

Noah Lopez10 said:Fine, but regarding deposits, I can just use my checking account through online banking to fund that account, right? I guess if I deposit dollars, does it just convert to whatever currency they use automatically, or do I actually have to send euros? I'm not really sure if US banks even let you wire euros directly.

Yeah, it'll just convert to whatever currency your account is in; that's just how standard banking works.

And yeah, US banks definitely allow it, though you probably won't need to deal with that much once you open the account and just dump some cash in there right away.

Noah Davis55 said:it basically just converts everything back into whatever currency your account uses, which I guess is pretty much how all major US banks handle things normally

and since local banks here allow that too, it shouldn't be much of an issue, though honestly you probably won't even need to worry about it once you open the account and just toss some cash in there to cover your bases

Thanks man, if I run into anything else I'll probably just shoot you a DM

I am attempting to deposit funds into my FanDuel account, but I’ve run into a bit of a snag. I have tried entering all the correct information three separate times now, yet I keep receiving a message stating, "Unfortunately, your deposit was not authorized!!" Does anyone happen to have any insight or advice on how to resolve this?

What method are you using? Is it a card? If so, which one?
