I can't really speak to the whole sickness thing since I rarely get sick—unless you count my allergies, which have become such a constant part of my life that I don't even consider them an illness anymore 🙄 but I do know that every single time I start worrying about the price of cigarettes, I’m right. It’s actually insane. Every time I think to myself that prices are bound to jump tomorrow, I open the newspaper and there it is, a headline confirming they’re going up. 👎
I've read Louise Hay before and thought her stuff was alright, but ever since Eminem started quoting her in his Displays, I can't help but laugh whenever her name comes up. I mean, hey, laughter is good for you, so I guess there's some merit to it. 😎

No. Not even a passing thought. Honestly, I already had a few other job offers on the table, so I knew roughly when I’d be walking out those doors at this firm. Taking medical leave would have been a disaster, really. I don't believe in leaving a mess behind me. My only real priority was wrapping up my current projects as fast as possible so I could finally decide where I was headed next.
