vocalist—some guy born in Chicago who needs to get his act together
backing vocals--think maybe some country legends like Garth Brooks or Toby Keith
bass-Santana (maybe let him drift away from the electric stuff, see if he finds his groove on bass)
lead guitar-slash
drums-that guy from Rammstein
violin-Vanessa Mae (just for the aesthetic)

Hmm, I'm not quite following?
Was that meant to be sarcasm, or are you being perfectly serious?

Are you being sarcastic or actually serious here?

And just like that, another one bites the dust... another one vaccinated.

Robin Booth said:Well, look at that... yet another one who took the shot.

"The encroachment of Western culture"
I honestly don't see anything strange or particularly funny about that statement, so I was actually wondering—what exactly is he finding so ridiculous or laughable about it?

I totally forgot to mention adding that local dance troupe to the mix to spice up the performance and give it some actual energy.

What sarcasm??
Seriously, man,

They’d outsell Metallica, 100%.👍

You clearly haven't spent enough time hanging out at the local pond, kid.😁

You’re totally right—they’d be like the perfect backing choir for those massive, epic tragic anthems, you know? Like "November Rain" or "Rise from the Ashes."

Imagine it... just subtle, moody blue lighting hitting them, while some ***** kind of vibe starts creeping in.

That's the real deal!
Seriously, man, you’ve got a gift.

Imagine it: subtle blue lighting, just enough to catch a few sexy silhouettes here and there.

That is the vision right there!
You clearly have an eye for this stuff.

Thanks, much appreciated.👋

Well, you can always find some predator hanging around places like that.
I get those types; they can't find anyone their own age, so what else are they supposed to do?😁

Look, I know we aren't really debating the main topic right now, but here goes nothing:
vocals - Mike Patton (Faith No More, Tomahawk, Fantomas, Mr. Bungle, Peeping Tom, etc., etc.)
drums - Danny Carey (Tool, Pigmy Love Circus)
guitar - Aaron Turner (Isis, Old Man Gloom)
guitar - Sel Balamir (Amplifier)
Bass - Les Claypool (Primus)

The thing is, these guys don't really play together at all (well, except for Mike Patton, who’s basically proven he can jam with anyone), but I guess it’d be wild to hear what a lineup like this would actually sound like...

There's plenty of other people I could shove in here too, but maybe some other time....

Black Dog said:Who do you guys think is the greatest songwriter in rock history?

I've got two heavy hitters in mind: Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney. Oh, and Leonard Cohen too. Plus Mael Bratac from Sparks... But honestly, it's kind of like asking what makes the perfect band. You can't really pin it down globally, maybe just by genre or whatever...

I am speaking from the perspective of those creeps you mentioned earlier.😎
And honestly, there might be something for us too; after all, mothers, sisters, and other relatives always show up to watch the children.

Hey Jimmy, have you ever checked out the Professionals? Is that actually worth the time? I can't seem to track them down, and honestly, I love Stevie like a brother... 🙂

He actually played with Paul Cook during his time in the Professionals.

If you just play "Silly thing" in your head for a moment, you'll get a pretty good idea of what it sounds like.

They even managed to score a hit about fifteen years ago with "Just Another dream"...

Did you happen to know that Steve actually released a DVD where he pops up as a sports commentator?😁
I can't quite recall exactly where I saw it, but I'll dig up the link and post it here for you soon.

Yeah, I know Cook was on it too. But if they sound anything like "Silly thing," I’m downloading them immediately tonight. Besides, it's the start of a new month, my phone bill is basically resetting to zero... 🙂

Here you’ll find a rough diary covering Steve Jones and Paul Cook; they even put out a DVD featuring The Professionals and were spotted at a Blondie concert... 😎
