They happen to be one of my absolute favorite bands—honestly, I feel like every single track they’ve released is a winner. To give you an idea, I suppose I could list out my top picks from various albums here:
THREAT OR PRAYER
- too beautiful
FACTORY ERROR
- factory error
- red poppies
- this is the end
- food around
- God, what a wonderful day [the harmonies on the chorus really fascinate me]
- karma chameleon
MINUTE OF SILENCE
- all quiet on the western front
- hey pilot, toss me some candy
- betty
- i'm not asking for much
LA MUSIQUE
- dolphin flight
- angela
- somehow you hurt me the most
- broken heart pencils

A bit of an underdog compared to the Atheists, but they’re still a hell of a team

I'm loving it😍

The lyrics are usually fine, but the melodies are all the same old thing

What do you mean, what songs? They’re all incredible!!

Does anyone actually know where I can track down Mickey's book "Megaphone" containing his poems?

Oh, I see we’ve got some Sixpence CD enthusiasts in the house! I actually own their entire discography—every single one. I have to admit, though, I haven't really blasted them in about six months... which is a bit of a shame, honestly, because they always had such a way of lifting my spirits. They really were my go-to for a mood boost!

"I’m raising both my hands in protest because this just isn't right—honestly, it’s totally unfair! I’m even yelling at God because I feel like He’s behind all of this, tearing down our childhood dreams and planting atomic bombs in our heads when all we ever wanted was for everything to be okay!"

Those lyrics are absolutely brilliant 🙏 🙏

Honestly, they're just a Bedway Ridge knockoff. They've got a few hits under their belt and the kids seem to love them, but whatever.
The only issue is that if you ask any actual punks, they'll tell you their sound is way too mainstream and poser-ish.☕

They’re alright, I guess, but honestly, I just can't be bothered to sit through them... if you aren't actually saying anything meaningful, then why even bother?.. their lyrics are pretty mid to me, some parts are even just plain annoying—like some overly dramatic indie band trying way too hard to be deep about broken hearts and stuff...

Oh, and one more thing... Betty is actually solid 🙂
"Two Minutes of Terror" is decent enough too
