I’m totally with you on that 5x2 from Ozone—it’s one of those things where, at first, you’re just like, "Yeah, okay, pretty decent." But then you go back for a second look? Man, wow. Total masterpiece. It really hits different once you actually sit with it. 😬

I’m telling you, I am absolutely all in favor of that 5x2 series from HBO... at first glance, I thought it was just okay, maybe even a little underwhelming, but then I went back and watched it a second time and—good grief—WOW. It is an absolute masterpiece! How can something feel so standard during a first viewing only to reveal itself as such a profound work of art upon reflection? It really makes you wonder if we even truly "see" anything the first time around, doesn't it? Once those layers start peeling back, it's just incredible. 😬

Yeah, I’ll admit it—the first time around, I was completely lost, just staring at the screen wondering what on earth he was trying to get at... it didn't make a lick of sense! But then, after letting it sit for a year, I caught it again on TV and, honestly? It was like a sudden bolt of enlightenment hit me right out of nowhere! 😬
By the way, I actually sat through that thing again—it was my third time watching it just recently! 😍

Maybe I should give it another spin myself... that’s the struggle when you’re hitting up all those film festivals. You end up watching four movies in a single day and there's just no way to actually process them all properly....

... though for certain specific movies, it actually makes perfect sense.

I was just at Coachella last week, and let me tell you, trying to sit through more than two movies back-to-back is an absolute fool's errand... after spending three hours staring at a screen, the information just stops "loading" into your brain, no matter how much empty space you think you have in there 🤣!
