It’s always a win when you head to the theater with low expectations and end up getting hit with something this substantial. It’s got everything: great characters, a blend of different cultures, romance, humor, and that whole coming-of-age vibe—it just feels like real life. Truly an excellent film.

The only real downside is that there clearly wasn't enough runtime or screen time to fully flesh out every single character. It would have been even more engaging if a few of them had been given more than just a couple of minutes to breathe. That said, the character archetypes themselves are spot on... that British guy (the brother) is a total riot... 😉the cast is absolutely top-tier...

What makes it work is how much it feels like a genuine European production. It avoids all that typical Hollywood over-polishing and forced drama; everything feels stripped back and simple, yet bursting with life. Even when it touches on heavy themes, it stays bright and breezy...

Highly recommended...

Honestly, this looks so charmingly delightful that you’d want America to join the EU tomorrow just to get a chance to see a film like this. 😉

I second everything said here. I was expecting some cheesy, half-romantic fluff, but what I actually got was a great movie. I might have to make a trip out to Barcelona again this summer just because I'm so hyped up now. It’s cool how everything felt authentic... That's what real madness looks like—when you're actually drunk, puking, and singing, instead of just acting silly and stuttering through fake jokes.

That was an absolutely stellar piece of cinema. Even though the runtime stretches to two hours, you find yourself walking away wishing it had been significantly longer. The soundtrack is quite impressive, particularly that specific track playing when the entire crew is partying in the discotheque—does anyone happen to recall the title? Furthermore, the cinematography possesses a certain semi-documentary quality that lends the whole experience an even greater sense of authenticity.
Upon finishing, one is struck by this profound desire to simply step away from all the nonsense we are forced to endure in our daily lives and escape to some sanctuary, free from stress, where one can finally pursue their true passions and simply exist as they were meant to be.

It is, without question, among the finest films I have had the pleasure of watching over the last two or three years.

To one was honestly pretty mediocre for me.

It felt like an unnamed idea that the director and writer just couldn't quite flesh out into a full-blooded, coherent script. I have to admit, all those half-baked attempts at visual and sound stylization really rubbed me the wrong way. 🙄

The only parts I actually enjoyed were the female characters.
My favorite had to be that lesbian character from Belgium. 🙂
