The Phantom Tollbooth (by Chuck Jones)

Does anyone happen to recall the actual original title of that specific movie... you know, the one that’s half live-action and half animation where the kid is just hanging out in his room when this massive, giant box comes flying in, and then he hops into his car and drives right through it, which leads into that animated sequence... blah blah blah... anyway, I am just looking for the original English title, not some translated version we got here in the States.

Whaaaaaaaaa!!!!! I might actually lose my mind because Richard Hernandez13 is being such a snob about this response. 😠

Back home, they translated it as a "magic package," and I actually still have it recorded on a VHS from the last time they aired it—back when I was, I don't know... 🤔....maybe in third grade. 😲

it’s such a brilliant concept for that era, you know? half movie, half cartoon, just absolutely perfect!!!

I saw on IMDb that this movie was released on DVD... and I even spotted some copies for sale on eBay. Does anyone know where I might be able to track down a copy locally here in Chicago? Maybe check any old video rental stores, or is there somewhere online I should look? Does anyone have one they're willing to sell? Anything at all 🙂
