I heard a rumor floating around... does anyone actually have the facts on this?

Man, I was standing in line at the campus dining hall yesterday, just waiting my turn, when I realized I was stuck right behind some guys from the ROTC program... and I overhear them talking about how one of their buddies—this absolute unit of a guy—is actually scheduled to go up against some guy from a rival school in an upcoming tournament.... they were all laughing and joking around about it, so I honestly just figured it was one of those typical college pranks or some inside joke... 😕

Now I'm starting to think they might actually be serious...

If you ask me, since he's a Dinamo supporter, I think it’s way more likely he was involved in some conventional combat sport rather than Pride.

The tournament is happening somewhere over in a suburb of Chicago,
but honestly, it’s like nobody even knows where it is.

So, I just saw this popping up on the news feeds:

I was reading through the Wall Street Journal and Sports Illustrated yesterday, and they're saying that on April 4th, over at the arena...
The high schools over in the suburbs are finally stepping up and hosting an Ultimate Fight tournament, and honestly, it’s about damn time. I'm telling you right now, this is going to be massive.
The fighters from Mexico and Mexico are coming, but on our side, we’ve got three heavy hitters representing the COP Team.
Pokrajac, Kolakušić, and some other guy whose name I can't even remember! Apparently, Pokrajac would...
He should’ve been stepping into the cage against the top Mexican fighter... and honestly, he really ought to have been too.
We just wrapped up three matches between the US and Canada—it was basically one giant ultimate showdown...

If that's all there is to it, then fine. That's it.

It might be an ultimate showdown, though I wouldn't call it Pride since that’s just some Japanese organization. 🙂

My bad. It looks like I misheard the situation. I thought I was playing by the rules, but apparently, I missed the mark on that one too.
