Honestly... thereβs going to be a massive crowd of people who didn't bother listening when they were actually relevant and have no clue who they are. To them, they're just Weezer, not something like Dinosaur Jr... We're talking 4,000 people! The Pixies are a club band for 300 or 400 people. This is more like Nirvana playing the arenas; I personally couldn't care less about being shoved around by hysterical MTV fans. Ugh. Those cheap knock-off legends should probably just stay where they belong.
Frank Howard79 said:Look, shadowgardener12, back when they played in New York City in '89, I was only 12, and my mom wouldn't let me or my sister go to the show. They didn't tour our neck of the woods again after that, and then they eventually broke up. So, I am definitely not missing this second chance. It honestly hurts my soul that I've been listening to the Pixies for decades, yet some people are just discovering them because of Fight Club, and now all these random crowds are going to swarm the concert. I just want to see them live, even if I have to be stuck in a sweaty venue full of mosquitoes.
Look on the bright sideβthatβs one less person in line for a ticket. Whoβs next!?

Itβs honestly laughable... there will be a massive crowd of people who completely ignored them back in the day, people who don't have a clue what they actually represent. To them, it's just Weezer, not the raw energy of Dinosaur Jr. and similar legends. We are talking about 4,000 people! The Pixies are a club band meant for a room of maybe 300 or 400 people. This show is more like Nirvana playing in a warehouse; I personally couldn't care less about being shoved around by hysterical MTV fans. It's exhausting. Any mediocre rip-off legend should probably just stay in the past where they belong.
