I honestly can't remember which island poll actually crowned Blur's "no more distance left to run" as the saddest song ever!
Does anyone else happen to recall that?

Nothing yet. Still just waving at the Faculty of Political Science, and apparently, it’s still ONLY waving back at me...

Here's a little bit of nonsense for youβ€”BeyoncΓ©: Me, Myself and I (actually tried paying attention to the lyrics this time). πŸ™„ )

Look, I’m just repeating what I hear. If they lied to me, I'm lying to you. Simple as that. Aaaaaahhhhhh.

boldeagle3, not at the Faculty of Political Science, my little politician and noblewoman!
Man, you've definitely got potential. I'll pass your name along to budakβ€”actually, scratch that, not to militi. Stick to sitting in lit class, kid.πŸ™‚

boldeagle3, pleaseβ€”not here at the Forum, my dear little politician and noblewoman!
though, I will admit, you certainly have potential... I might just have to recommend you to budakβ€”no, wait, not militi, let's go with Literature II instead!πŸ™‚

I didn't even bring up politics πŸ™‚
And any "potential" you think you see is strictly the fault of this Forum and absolutely nothing else.
Literature II...πŸ˜•
That's just too much, honestly. 😁

GRACE

Your hands are out of sync.
Somewhere between reality and a dream.
Just watching the city pass me by.
Some people just trailing behind us.
Just take me with you.
Do whatever you can.
just take me with you.
Thanks, thanks, thanks... much appreciated.
😁 😁 I finally finished!!!!πŸ™‚

Well, I didn't post the WHOLE thing, did I? How are you gonna start crying bitter tears NOW, 😁 😁 😁

GRACE
You tell me you're free
I want to believe it
The street in the glow
Your gaze drives me crazy
Come on, take me with you
Do everything you know how to do
Come on, take me with you
Grace.
I still love you
Do you even know that?
Searching for the rhythm in my step
Slowing down your pace
Listening to your questions
Answering with a smile
Come on, take me with you
Do everything you know how to do
Come on, take me with you
Grace.

And man, it sucks that Johnny left, HE left, everyone just left😳
(PS. do you knooooow that I loooooove you, I haven't known for so longgg)😁

How is that even possible? Huh? Seriously, how is that even possible.

Kevin Wood22 - one star πŸ†™ get lost, man! what an idiot. you don't even know how to use a quote, let alone make sense of those pathetic little points of yours.πŸ™„ They aren't even funny anymore. You think you're clever or something? Seriously, Johnny, just get lost.

If I'm feeling as blue as a rainy day in Seattle, I just pop "so that Tonight I Might see" into my Mazzy Star πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
But if I really want to get totally swept away by the feels, Roberta Flack just finishes me off with "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face"

The whole album is just too good. Makes me want to melt over cold Jewelβ€”that little ice queen from Alaska.

offtopic: I give up. My sweet boldeagle3β€”you win!
It wasn't even me, it was someone else, lalala
But Johnny? Who did that heartless idiot actually make cry???

Fine, maybe just in one song (...but way out there, in Illinois, a tombstone stands... waiting for Pit to arrive from far away, all the way from Alaska to Mexico, that's the other picture, Pit... and that's America) back when I was in Illinois, that tiny damn state, I searched the whole place looking for that headstone, and nothing... damn lying Johnny... he actually made me cry, I admit it!

That's the thing about Johnny πŸ˜•

It’s a bit of a mixed bag with Coldplay, honestly.
Then there’s Hey You and Nobody's Home by Pink Floyd.
After that, I'd go with Exit Music (For a Film) by Radiohead and some David Gray, as someone smart once pointed out.
To wrap things up, Word - Low.

Maybe I'll think of a few others later...

-Sarah McLachlan: "Angel", "Good Enough", and "Sweet Surrender" are just breathtaking tracks.
-3 Doors Down: "Here without you".
-Train: "Drops of Jupiter"
-Pink: "Dear Diary"
-Avril Lavigne: "I'm with you"
-Evanescence: "My Immortal" (honestly, considering how many times this song gets played, I’m surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet)
-Sheryl Crow: "My Favourite Mistake"
-Aerosmith: "Hole in My Soul"
-Norah Jones: "Don't know why"
-Seal: "Kiss from a Rose"
-Audioslave: "Like a Stone"
-Michelle Branch: "Goodbye to You"
-Coldplay: "Trouble"
-Madonna: "Time Stood Still" - from the "Next Best Thing" soundtrack (which was easily the only redeeming quality of that movie)

I believe my list is complete now. I really ought to switch over to something more upbeat, or perhaps grab those suction tools they use at the dentist, stick them under my eyes, and just sit there enjoying my favorite songs... 😁

o jednoj mladosti - josipa lisac
da sam ja netko - indexi
ona se budi - Ε‘arlo akrobata
mi nismo sami - film
scientist -coldplay
one, with or without you, love is blindness, ma svaka od u2
my oh my, babylon - david gray
under the bridge -rhcp
lovesong, just like heaven - cure
there's a light thwt never goes out -the smiths

I mean, if this is the "vibe" everyone's going for, then even the local dive bars are gonna end up looking like some tacky tourist trap 😁

Honestly, I just love sitting at home and actually feeling these songs 😬

Today I found myself 😠 digging through a pile of old MP3 files that have been gathering dust next to me for months now😠 when I stumbled upon the perfect trackβ€”the kind of song you use as a bookend, the ultimate crown for my entire collection of heartbreak anthems:

Azra - Ako znas bilo sto

Honestly, since I started sobbing uncontrollably at the sheer weight of everything this song represents... and I don't think I can recall ever reacting to music quite like this... any commentary at all feels pretty much redundant.

The Doors for crying? Honestly, they always lift my mood...

For me, the real tear-jerker is Stone Temple Pilots : Kitchenware & Candybars
Just a beautiful track...
