Greetings. I am seeking assistance regarding why my PC refuses to recognize a new graphics card... I have already uninstalled the old drivers and disabled them. When I install the new card and power on the computer, everything appears normally at first—the standard BIOS splash screen with options like BIOS or Del... however, nothing proceeds past that point. The screen simply goes black and displays "no signal detected," yet the computer continues to run normally with sound...

I have the integrated graphics active. I removed the old card (AMD Radeon HD 5570) and uninstalled its drivers, so now I am using the integrated chip. Should I disable the integrated graphics to ensure this new one works properly? (It is an Nvidia GeForce 210 1GB DDR3)

Did you disable the integrated graphics in the BIOS?

I am unable to access the BIOS settings... It simply hangs on the motherboard splash screen and refuses to load. After about two minutes, the screen goes black and displays "no signal," leaving the monitor indicator light yellow. I previously disabled the integrated graphics in the

Typically, the integrated unit shuts itself down once you introduce an external component. This suggests the power supply might lack sufficient wattage, or perhaps the new part is defective right out of the box. If you pull the new hardware out and everything runs normally again, I'd suggest testing the system with a more robust power supply.

It states a power draw of 30.2W. My power supply is an EVGA Pro 450W, paired with a Gigabyte H61M-S2P motherboard, an Intel Core i3-2100, and 4GB of RAM. I am switching to a low-profile Asus Nvidia GeForce 210, though my previous AMD Radeon HD 5570 worked perfectly... Could someone please verify if this new card is compatible with my current setup?

The power supply should be fine; that card pulls almost no power. Double-check that you actually seated the GPU properly and verify which slot you're using. If there’s another slot available, try plugging it in there instead.

It looks like the PC isn't even detecting the card, which usually means it's dead.

Check your cables and make sure everything is snapped in tight. Sometimes the monitor cable gets loose from being moved around, or the one going into the tower won't click all the way because the side panel is getting in the way. Also, take a look at the connectors—make sure you haven't bent any pins while plugging it in.

Honestly, that "new" graphics card isn't any more powerful than the integrated 😬
