Which one is the second one?
And by the way, the first isn't Azgagoth—it's Azagtoth.🙂

Maybe he was thinking of Shagrat from Burger King???

Bill, you're a legend 🙂 Shathret. That’s going to be some pure, artistic, unholy black metal... just true Norwegian-style American black metal at its finest... the name 🙂

What does that even mean? It's not like I'm some kind of Lars Ulrich.🙂 😁

Who's that guy from Justice for All? That heavy-set Italian dude?

Yes! This is honestly one of the best pieces of news I've heard in a while 🙂

Man, if only I could catch them live right now. Sadly, I ended up seeing them with Ripper instead... 😢

Absolute killer news! If they could just move a little closer to somewhere like Chicago... 🙂

MATT BARLOW IS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE GREATEST VOCALISTS TO EVER GRACE A STAGE! And honestly? No one can even try to argue with that!

And man... I seriously wish he’d just come back to Iced Earth for good, because this Ripper guy... he’s just—he’s not what Iced Earth needs! Not even close! And let’s be real, his vocals don't even hold a candle to Barlow's!!!!

MATT BARLOW IS BACK!

"Up from the ashes, back from the depths, when the voices have risen, fire becomes flesh!" 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

I share that sense of excitement regarding his return... Iced Earth just hasn't felt quite right without him. It always felt like there was an essential piece missing, and the music simply lacked that certain spark

I know this thread is old, but for anyone who hasn't heard yet—Barlow is leaving again. He says he wants to focus on his family and all that...

I guess I'm just wondering who Schaffer is going to call next.

Oh, for crying out loud, not this again. 🤦 😢

Now I’m feeling even more bummed out that I missed that 2009 show in Washington, D.C. 😢

Man... I know this might rub salt in the wound, but honestly, you probably should be disappointed.
Maybe there’s a silver lining, though. Word is they might tour in '11.

Edit: My bad, looking at the schedule now and it looks like it's just festivals. Lollapalooza, Wacken, stuff like that.

But let’s be real, they aren't going to be coming anywhere near us on this tour. 😢 It's just a bunch of stops in Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Finland, and Spain. Honestly, blah.

It’s a total disaster—my one shot at seeing Metallica with Matt Barlow is slipping away, and frankly, Metallica without Matt just isn't Metallica. I've lived through so many moments with those songs—only to never actually see him live with them. Just a complete catastrophe. 😕
By the way, their new singer is House of Representatives.
