What are some movies you absolutely loved?

Life is like a house 👍

I heard *The Pianist* is actually worth watching... just waiting for the original to hit streaming 🙂

"Respiro"
"Wasp"
"Summer in Golden Valley"
"B-Happy"
"Mountain Fire"

are easily the best flicks I've managed to sit through so far in 2003.

😛 Go see it at the theater!😛
Pirates of the Caribbean with Johnny Depp is a solid 5+ out of 10.👍

Thanks again to everyone for all the effort and the solid advice...

I've already checked out a few of your suggestions and they didn't disappoint, while others are still on my list...

Much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hey, what actually did you watch???
Which movies did you hit and which ones were actually good?

Check out the Matrix movies (all the ones you haven't seen yet), Spider-Man, Omnipotent Brus (honestly, can't be bothered to type the English title 🙂), and I think Sleepy Hollow came out a while back, but it’s solid. That should be plenty for now...

Hey, what did you end up watching???

Salton Sea - okay
Salton Sea - okay dog love - phenomenal
Mothman's prophecies - meh...
Ghost Ship - pointless / seen it before
Spy - okay
The 13th Warrior - realized halfway through I'd already seen it - decent enough
Spanish Prisoner - watched it while hungover - eh...
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind - okay

That’s all I had time for, more to come...

Go watch The Green Mile 🙏

,,,,trust me, you won't regret it 🙏

Here are a few great ones I’ve watched lately:

The Core
Ripley's Games
The 51st State
Confidence
The Italian Job

These movies are top-tier. You really have to check them out!

If you’re talking about that tall, lanky Black man they all pitied, then I’m with you. It’s a hell of a movie. 👍

Check out "25th Hour." Spike Lee and Edward Norton deliver a truly exceptional piece of cinema here.

Shawshank Redemption 👍
Honestly, this is one of my absolute favorite movies of all time. I think they finally released it on DVD now, right?

Alexander Parker69 said:If you mean that tall, skinny Black guy everyone was obsessed with, then yeah, I’m with you. Solid movie. 👍

Yeah, yeah... that's definitely the one. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Great movie.....

I finally managed to track down a DVD of Serpico the other day after searching forever. Does anyone know if they still carry movies like this in local video rental stores?

Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert😁 just popped into my head.
Great filmmaking—among other things. 😉

It honestly feels to me like half of those movies you guys talk about aren't even available in video rental stores anymore,
your typical neighborhood video stores

So, I went ahead and typed out a list of about twenty movies along with my takes, but apparently, the "post didn't take"—everything just vanished into thin air.

What now? I suppose I’ll just write them all over again if the original thread starter buys me some Milka...

Just kidding.
In short, I'm going to attempt to re-list the films—and if anyone actually wants to discuss one of them, feel free to ask:

Day of the Beast
Me, myself, and Irena Sleepy Hollow White
Sleepy Hollow
White Powder
Stigmat Celio
Celio
Dice Artificial Intelligence The Salton Sea from
Dice Artificial Intelligence

From Hell
... naturally, I can't recall the rest of them.

Here’s some more:

Thieves, Killers, and Two Loaded Shotguns
Zdrpi—just wipe it away...
Mysterious Symbols

Here's another set:

Tiger and Dragon
Catch Me If You Can
