Yellowstone National Park is wonderful, though I guess they mostly limit tourists to the perimeter areas while leaving the deep interior for researchers. We spent about four days there, and personally, I think it might actually be a better experience than visiting Machu Picchu when you're traveling through South America.

Good grief, some people really are obsessed with being adventurers. They trek all the way to the Andes just to drop dead because their hearts simply can't handle the altitude changes and the thin air. You see a thirty-year-old guy head out on an expedition like that, and it's just madness. I have to hand it to you, though—your sheer willpower and desire to wander through jungles playing pretend is certainly something. I don't doubt for a second that there's a certain charm to it.

Well, I’m telling you, that piranha just... it basically came right to me, I guess. If you want to believe me, then fine, but if you don't, that's on you; I have absolutely no reason to lie to anyone. I suppose if you choose to believe me, you're a decent person, but if you won't, then maybe it's best if you just leave this forum, because it seems to me there might be a bit of a demon lurking inside you.

Actually, they do let tourists in—you just have to know how to navigate the system.

Man, I should probably keep my thoughts to myself after hearing about Lila passing. People already asked him what happened, but he wouldn't say anything, almost like he wasn't ready to face it. It crossed my mind that maybe he killed her and buried her—look, I'm just being honest about the thought that popped into my head. I also remembered some old videos from before he moved in with his Chocolate; he used to talk quite negatively about dogs, so that's why it flashed through my mind. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me. The guy is a textbook sociopath. But eventually, the investigators will dig into it, I'm sure of it.

Did you see where Doris was?

I honestly can't wrap my head around people who travel just to exhaust themselves. For me, a trip should be all about relaxing, having a blast, and hanging out—not trekking through endless mountains and forests until you're completely wiped out! 🕺

Give it a rest, man.🤣🤣

The locals in Bađun might think he's a joke, or at least that's what the folks in Dalmoš would say, but calling him a sociopath? Really? When you hear the guy explaining how "less is more" is actually a valid concept—even if he talks a mile a minute like a broken record—it doesn't make him a monster. Everyone has their quirks. There's a difference between making fun of his clumsy lies and completely assassinating his character to make him look worse than he is. Personally, I find him quite likable; he seems like a harmless enough guy.

What's more intense to me are these basement dwellers who track his every single word for two years straight, trying to catch him in a lie every chance they get, even though nobody else cares anymore.

The crow doesn't actually say much of anything bad. You can just feel this suppressed violence vibrating off of him constantly, like he's struggling to keep a lid on it. That's the kind of energy he puts out. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he were a domestic abuser.

I wouldn't be shocked either—nothing really surprises me anymore—but I'm not going to levy such serious slander based on someone's "vibe."

Kyle Campbell4 said:Joseph won't be lecturing you. Feel free to return. Don't be such a coward 😁 and Darfur isn't exactly near Australia 🙂:

bluebison47 already explained that I pointed out my location immediately, but you just didn't catch it😁

I have no idea if there will be nuclear changes, and nobody is going to target Darfur🕺

Jonathan Barnes5 said:Honestly, this whole scene is starting to feel a bit like something straight out of a post-apocalyptic movie.

hehehe, a few years ago I was in Darfur in a place called Genein on the border with Chad. If anyone asked how it was, I'd tell them it looks like a nuclear war ended there just six months prior. Words can't describe it; you really have to experience it to understand. Now I'm in a town called Nyala. Compared to Genein, this feels like a major metropolis...😁

I used to track him religiously for quite some time. On several occasions, he appeared to be on the verge of snapping due to aggression, yet he managed to restrain himself every single time just to maintain his cool exterior. In one specific video, he was incredibly unpleasant toward his wife; if I recall correctly, it was that vlog where they had a flat tire and were searching for a mechanic to fix it. To me, he radiates the unmistakable energy of a violent individual, despite his constant efforts to promote love and peace among people.

Wait, is Joseph Clark37 actually in the French Foreign Legion? 🤷

That line from Doris is just ridiculous... I mean, what is she actually doing stuck inside her own house when she's having a bad day? Hmm...

Then you clearly don't know him as well as you think. Haven't you heard about his violent outbursts back when he was working as a Park Ranger in the States? He reportedly got into scraps just because people were littering plastic cups. Or how about that time he stepped out onto the street wielding two machetes, threatening some drunks?

And that’s not even mentioning the countless other violent situations he’s been caught up in. Honestly, whether those stories are true or not, they’re both a disaster for his reputation. If they’re true, then he isn't the guy he pretends to be. If they aren't (which seems more likely), it's a classic sociopathic trait—fantasizing about violence—which is exactly what I think he is. Not to mention his run-ins with the guerrilla groups, or those attacks in Bogota and Africa where he was taking down poachers one by one. A huge chunk of his stories revolve around violence; I don't know how you haven't noticed that yet, or maybe it's just because he tells these tales in such a charming, upbeat way to soften the blow of what he actually did if it's true.

So, that’s why he seems like some harmless guy to you. To me, he's the exact opposite.

I can't find that specific video where he talks about walking out at night in nothing but boxers with two machetes, intimidating those drunk guys. Don't mess with me, Charles Roberts33; if you think he's innocent, you're mistaken. Whether it happened or not, the guy is mentally unstable. And let's not even get started on his aggressive outbursts—honestly, that's exactly why people started giving him a hard time in the first place.

And man, every time someone in the chat would ask him an awkward question he didn't have an answer for, he’d start hurling insults like a total jerk.
People made such a huge mess out of that video.
I wouldn't go so far as to say he killed his dog—I won't put my neck on the line for that—but honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he did. And as for his wife? Poor woman... she’s stuck dealing with a useless guy for over 40 years whose only real hobby is making up these fake hunting stories on YouTube.

Those stories probably only ever happened in his own head—he tells them because he thinks it makes him look like a tough guy.
As for the second part, that's entirely true; once he was caught, he showed everyone his aggressive side.

You should have waited 28 seconds to quote me; I actually went back and edited my post to say 'outbursts of aggression' instead of 'rage,' just so people wouldn't mistake everything for pure anger ☕

He comes across to me like a harmless prankster. Of course, I don't know the guy personally, so I'm just going off what he posts online. I haven't seen anyone close to him accusing him of being a bully, not even the people who don't like him.

The point is, I don't want to throw around assumptions like some gossip columnist—claiming he beats his wife or killed his dog just because of the hunting stories he tells or because he lost his cool with trolls. Look, I have my own aggressive moments too, believe me. People could easily draw all sorts of (wrong) conclusions based on what they see firsthand.
