... on the web.

Why?

Look, I'm talking about the other computer in the house, and I've already tried everything from a direct ethernet connection to jumping on the Wi-Fi, but absolutely nothing is working.

It was working perfectly fine before, but ever since I did a fresh reinstall of macOS, the whole thing just refuses to cooperate.

Check the network icon down by your system tray—is there any kind of warning or status indicator popping up there? Also, have you made sure the network card drivers are actually installed? One more thing—double-check that your system clock, date, and year are all set correctly. Sometimes that little detail can throw everything off, right?

What were you even doing? How did you manage to connect that, what goes where? A wire and a cable—isn't that the same thing?

Did you actually bother to install the drivers?

Everything’s gone completely sideways with this USB Wi-Fi adapter

And honestly, I tried plugging my router straight into the machine with an Ethernet cable too, just to be sure, but it's the exact same nightmare

The computer keeps insisting it’s connected, but obviously, there’s zero actual internet access

Also, just double-check that you haven't somehow accidentally left a proxy enabled, though I highly doubt that's the issue.

To set the time and date, just head down to the bottom right corner and double-click on the clock icon; it should work perfectly fine from there.
