np the music ... getaway

btw...Justin Timberlake really went overboard this time. I saw his ticket price for that show in Miami was like $120... seriously, what is he thinking? πŸ™„

Look, I'm not trying to defend him, but JT doesn't set the ticket prices himself... he just names his performance fee, then the promoters handle all the math and calculations... Maybe they're slapping on some crazy 300% markup????😲

Look, you're telling me... it's the truth. If he actually set a reasonable price for the show, they wouldn't even be allowed to jack the ticket costs up that much. But since he’s already setting such a massive baseline, the promoter has to hike their end too, right? Just so they can actually make a profit... πŸ™„

And once again, it’s the same old storyβ€”his guests aren't exactly "charity workers," if you know what I mean... basically, they just want to get paid for the gig. I honestly think even a tiny bit of his ego would cost more than $8.25Β¨!!!! 😁

ha ha.....I mean, come on, those guys are huge stars. They deserve to be paid top dollar... otherwise, you won't see them step foot on stage! 😁 πŸ˜‰

You probably wouldn't have run into me there either (at least I hope 😳) , but honestly, the album isn't a total disaster. For instance, when I'm just walking around my neighborhood, I much prefer listening to him over stuff like Maroon 5, Jack Johnson, or some generic elevator music πŸ™„

They’ve certainly come a long way...

And that bit about "interesting guests"β€”please. Who hasn't shared a stage with Pink Floyd or Phil Collins at this point?

AllMusic doesn't give a damn about the North American scene or any part of the American diaspora. And regarding the Pink Floyd and Phil Collins connectionβ€”honestly, which one of our guys has actually played with them?

It’s truly dreadful...
how wonderful it feels when I turn out the lights and you simply close your eyes...
only for me to find myself wandering back out into the world again...
it is quite unpleasant, especially since there are moments when I feel I am entirely alone, even when I should be with you...

I am merely teasing... Gibe has some lovely songs, though I must say, the ticket prices seem rather unreasonable, don't you think?

Oh, it really is terrible... and I certainly can't be blamed for any of this... πŸ˜‰
where does she get the right to paint herself blue like that?

Look, most of the "local" artists listed on AllMusic are only there because they checked a boxβ€”it’s basically just a lazy attempt to say, "Let's throw in one famous name from every country to look diverse."

Have you even noticed that there isn't a single word written about him or any of his albums on that site? It's the same story with Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, or even The White Stripes...

The only ones you can actually find meaningful info on AllMusic are the acts that truly made it on the international stage. In order:
Bruce Springsteen
Metallica
Nine Inch Nails
Steely Dan
and (more recently) Nirvana

Everyone else is only featured because the editors want to pad out their encyclopedia with a handful of names from every region. They probably just asked someone, "Hey, who's anyone in the States?" got a list of names, and logged them.
Bottom line: seeing Justin Timberlake on AllMusic doesn't actually prove anything at all...

In Chicago, tickets are being sold for exactly $60 πŸ‘Ž
β€”not a cent more, and certainly not a cent less.

The numbers don't lieβ€”they'll show exactly who called it!
If they actually manage to pack that arena... man, props to them, because their math was spot on.
But if it ends up looking half-empty? Total disaster. Absolute joke. πŸ™„

Or, you know, if you actually have any self-respect left, maybe skip it entirely.

Total garbage.

Look, everyone has their own taste. I don't really listen to Justin Timberlake, but I still respect him as an artist. And Ida, honestly, most of the stuff you listen to makes me want to gagβ€”so what? We’re just different. πŸ™„

--- I honestly think we’ll be listening to Justin Timberlake played on a banjo at the next album release.😒

Honestly, if I were out of my mind, I’d probably drop more than $13 just to catch a Live Nation show!!!!😲
