Need help with TrakAxPC

Can someone who actually knows their way around the TrakAxPC photo and audio mixing software help me out? I downloaded the program and got it installed, but every time I try to launch it, it just sits there demanding an activation code. How on earth am I supposed to get my hands on that code?

I downloaded the Trakaxpc Free to try version from the web about seven years ago. Back then, it was just a basic 15-day trial or some kind of free tier—I can't quite remember which—but I didn't have to shell out any cash or mess around with activation codes. Sure, I didn't have every single bells and whistles feature available, but honestly, it did the job and I was perfectly happy with it. Fast forward to a few months ago: I decided to wipe my drive and perform a fresh install of Windows, which nuked everything and wiped all my software clean. Now, every time I go to download Trakaxpc, it's demanding a product key immediately. It didn't used to work like this... what gives? ????

They changed things up. It’s totally free now, but they’re only giving us a 15-day trial... Something in there says they'll explain how it works via email. You check your inbox yet to see if the details are there?
