VLC Player keeps stuttering

I just tried that stream myself and it seems to be working fine.
What kind of internet connection are you using, and what are your general PC specs (processor, RAM, graphics card)?

So, you know that feeling when you're gaming and everything starts lagging... or you're trying to stream a game and the whole thing just hitches? Like, the picture vanishes, the VLC Player logo pops up for a split second, and then it finally catches up and keeps going...
I'm on Wi-Fi using AT&T, and even though I've got the basic plan, my signal is actually great. It’s not an internet issue because everything was running perfectly fine before.

My laptop is an Acer Aspire E1-531
It's got an E1-531 Intel B960 processor (2.2GHz, 2MB L3 cache)
4 GB DDR3
The graphics are integrated—not really sure how many MBs we're talking about right now—but look, it worked fine before without any drama.

Today is slightly better than yesterday. Yesterday was absolute torture because it was stuttering every 5 seconds... now it's every 15 :P

Maybe try grabbing CCleaner, Malwarebytes, and AdwCleaner? I’d also run a scan with JRT—just to be safe. Once you’ve given the computer a good cleaning with those, let me know if things start looking any different.

Maybe you’ve got some neighbor who’s piggybacking on your Wi-Fi signal, or perhaps there's just some interference? What kind of security settings are you running on your router?
I was trying to stream from that link over on CBS and the feed keeps cutting out on me constantly, whereas I can watch PBS or ABC without any hiccups at all. It makes me think the issue might just be with that specific broadcast.

Might give it a shot, though it feels kinda pointless since I just finished installing Windows 7 yesterday.

Jean Paul - Man, I just tried it too, and RTL is the only thing lagging on that site... Honestly, it’s weird because it was fine before, but hey, if it’s not my hardware acting up, then it's clearly their problem.
