Best PC Emulator setups?

Did you order it pre-assembled?

They’re supposed to build and test the thing. If the PC boots up, everything should be fine.

They haven't gotten back to me yet since I sent my assembly inquiry over on Saturday,
and I went ahead and ordered everything on Sunday—I guess I was just being impatient.

Well, it's Monday now, so I'll give them a call in about thirty minutes once they open up.

I'm honestly a little confused, though. I saw this one YouTuber put together this exact same configuration and everything worked perfectly for him:

But then, on the flip side, this guy was having major issues with this specific CPU and motherboard combo:

Plus, I did a quick Google search and found plenty of other people swearing that this pairing is just problematic.

For some folks, the trouble didn't even show up until a week after they built it.

Here are a few comments I found:

"Do not get the MSI B550M Pro VDH-Wifi motherboard if you're going to get a 5600g. I've been fighting this motherboard for a month trying everything possible to get it to work and I'm always right back to square 1. It's rebooting constantly. Updated bios about 45 times at least. Tried every bios version back to june 2021. Can't even get to anything in the bios because any time i move the mouse or touch a key it reboots. Or it won't post, and if it starts to post, mouse or keyboard input makes it reboot again. Check reviews of the motherboard on amazon and newegg before getting it."

"I cannot get mine to work at all. I have the exact same build he recommended and no matter what I do it keeps rebooting on me before I can install windows. I've updates bios, I can't do much inside the bios because it shuts off before I can do anything. I'm so frustrated. Checking reviews soooo many people are having the same issue with the 5600g"

"Hello scattervolt. I am planning on using this build in a few months. I’ve researched all of the parts and found out that the motherboard seems to be defective for a lot of people. Did you have any problems with it at all?"

And he replied to him:
"Motherboard defectiveness isn't necessarily a brand issue. Every once and a while a motherboard won't pass quality control and that's where you get some defective items here and there. Though, if you're basing your conclusion off of Amazon reviews, then I'd be skeptical about a lot of those because half of the 1 star reviews are bogus lol. Use Newegg for more accurate reviews."

So, I'm thinking it might be safer to just pick a different motherboard altogether. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Telebit is giving me the option to tweak the configuration for an extra $67.
So, including shipping, we're looking at a grand total of $1667.

Now I'm stuck. What's the move?
Do I take the gamble on this motherboard? Apparently, some folks are running into headaches when they pair it with this specific CPU.

Or should I just pull the plug on the order and learn how to build everything again with a different board?

I've only got two days left before this offer expires.
