It reminds me of some low-budget indie flick. The premise involves two moms and two dads, while this poor kid only has two dads. It feels like a straight-to-streaming production with zero substance. Where is the depth? Where is the mystery or spirituality? It’s just a shallow, pseudo-apocalyptic tale wrapped in forced emotionalism and a push for LGBTQ agendas and various other nonsense. I can just picture Dave Bautista and maybe Rock sharing a tender moment together. Wouldn't that be a much better choice for the fathers?

While I was watching this, I honestly got those moody, slow-burn indie vibes, kind of like one of those atmospheric Scandinavian thrillers where the plot moves at its own pace but you just can't tear your eyes away. The cast was solid. Dave Bautista totally won me over; I’ve known he had the chops for a while now, and it’s awesome to see him finally landing these meaty roles. He’s really carving out his own lane, standing way apart from guys like Rock or John Cena.

I caught Bautista in that new Daniel Craig whodunit, Glass Onion, a few days ago. His role wasn't quite as intense as his part in Knock at the Cabin—not exactly pulling teeth there—but still. The guy definitely knows how to act.
