Troubleshooting issues with HP LaserJet 1320

Hey everyone! I’ve run into a bit of a headache and was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. So, my printer seems to be working just fine for the most part, but there's this one specific glitch that's driving me nuts. Whenever I try to print a Word document and set it to make, say, three copies, it just spits out one single page and completely ignores the rest. It won't do the other two unless I manually go in and send a separate print command for every single individual copy. It feels like such a waste of time! I've already checked the drivers and they seem totally fine, so I'm stumped. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Thanks a bunch in advance! 😵😵😵

Settings->Devices->Select your HP->Management->Printer Properties->"Device Settings" tab->(scroll all the way down) Mopier mode: set this to Disabled

It’s meant to save memory by sending just one copy to the printer, which then handles the extra copies itself. But, if you're using a basic USB driver instead of PCL, it probably ignores those other settings and just prints whatever it receives sequentially. In that case, this specific setting totally screws things up.

It’s supposed to save memory because when that option is on, it sends just one single copy to the printer, and then the printer itself handles making the extra copies you asked for. But honestly, since most basic USB printers use standard drivers rather than full PCL, they usually just print whatever data hits them in order, so having that setting turned on basically just messes everything up...
