Hey everyone,

NPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION

This issue is driving me absolutely insane, so I figured I’d ask here just in case anyone knows what might be causing this or how to actually fix it.
I bought this computer about four months ago.

Here is the specific model:
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/p...-driver-update

The computer works fine and then just freezes out of nowhere. Sometimes it runs for a few hours, sometimes a few minutes, sometimes it goes two days before it hangs up.
When it freezes, I get this blue screen:

Then the computer restarts. Once it comes back up, it works, but there's no sound.
I see a "No speakers or headphones are plugged in" message on the taskbar icon down at the bottom.

I've been Googling solutions for days, and nothing works.
I took the computer to the service center at the company where I bought it, and I'm literally bringing it back to them for the fifth time now.
-They reinstalled Windows 10 and did a BIOS reset.
-All drivers were reinstalled and updated.
-They reseated the RAM again.
-They tested all my peripherals. I swapped out speakers, mouse, keyboard—they tested everything and claim it's all good.

And yet, the problem keeps coming back.
I'm convinced the machine is defective. Honestly, it feels like there's a manufacturing flaw in this Dell Alienware series.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some people say the SSD needs replacing, others say it's the motherboard. Some say it's the graphics card. The service techs tell me the graphics card is perfectly fine.

It looks like you're dealing with a hardware issue here. Honestly, that specific error code on the blue screen doesn't tell us much because it could be caused by pretty much anything under the sun. I'd suggest checking the event ID to see what's actually happening right when the computer freezes up. You might also want to try installing BlueScreenView so you can dig into the exact error dump and see precisely what it's reporting.

So, those guys over at the repair shop tried everything under the sun and still came up empty. They’re actually telling me everything looks fine on their end.
But honestly, we all reached the same conclusion: this is definitely a hardware issue.

They're supposed to swap my whole setup out for a different computer soon.

The board is garbage. Just beat them down.
