ABSTRACT
A group of 30 patients—ages 32 to 78—dealing with neuropathic pain underwent a 45-day treatment using pregabalin combined with palmitoylethanolamide. Everyone finished the trial without a single reported side effect. More importantly, there was a massive drop in pain levels across the board, which directly led to much better sleep quality. Basically, fixing the symptoms helped people actually rest again, and everyone felt pretty great about how well the combo worked. Long story short: this dual therapy approach works, it's safe, and it genuinely helps people get their lives back.

I’m such a believer in PEA that I just pulled the trigger and ordered a full 365-day supply from $167.
The thing is, apparently those 365-count bottles from iHerb sell out in like a heartbeat, and then you're stuck waiting forever. I didn't want to take any chances—checked yesterday and they were already out of stock, so I had to jump ahead of the curve. Now I'm just waiting for the "in stock" email so I can grab them immediately.

My daily routine is basically going to be the same morning and night:
Pregabalin + PEA + SAM-e + Lithium Orotate + ALA/Benfotiamine + Quercetin/Bromelain. Plus MSM in the afternoon for a little detox.

This is the heavy-duty protocol. XD

Then, just thirty minutes before hitting the sack at night, I'll do reishi + magnesium glycinate + ashwagandha.

Just waiting on my paycheck to hit—then I'm pulling the trigger on this order from overseas. It's about 100 bucks, but man, it's worth every cent.

It’s honestly wild that you can’t even find Solgar copper at our local CVS or Walgreens... left me totally speechless.

Jacob Lopez51, man, I know you’re the one keeping this thread alive, but you’ve gone way too hard on the pills. Even I haven't gone that far. 😁

Honestly, NAC at 1 gram per tablet is hands down the best supplement I've ever tried—I am definitely sticking with it!
I usually stack it with Jarrow Zinc Balance because NAC actually helps the body process zinc and copper more effectively, so it just makes sense to supplement them together. The Zinc Balance has 15mg of zinc and 1mg of copper, which is that perfect 15:1 ratio you want.

My PEA 365 capsules finally showed up—it was totally sold out within a single day, so I always keep an eye on iHerb and have them ping my email the second it’s back in stock.

This is basically my endgame therapy:

A few basics here:

When you're taking Zinc, you absolutely have to pair it with a small dose of copper—a 15:1 ratio is the sweet spot. And honestly? Zinc methionine is hands down the best form for bioavailability.

Then there's Ascorbyl Palmitate. It's a fat-soluble esterified Vitamin C, and most people agree it's the superior way to get Vitamin C across the blood-brain barrier.
That’s actually the specific version I'd suggest taking alongside NAC.

Now, if we're talking magnesium, the real deal—the properly chelated stuff—is magnesium glycinate-lysinate. Basically, glycine and lysine are amino acids that bond with the magnesium to create a single molecule.
Glycinate acts as an NMDA antagonist, which makes it incredible for relaxation and getting some decent sleep.
Lysine is mostly used for its antiviral properties.

Like I've said before, the most important thing with any supplement is doing your homework. You need to hunt down high-bioavailability forms, because anything else is just wasted money.

It took me three full days to finally bounce back from COVID.
This strain is no joke—I felt like I got hit by a freight train... the treatment I went with was intense, but honestly, it worked. I ended up mixing my own protocol because I was stressing about potential EBV reactivation and histamine issues (the whole mast cell thing). I wanted to be prepared—heavily.

The only other thing I took besides supplements was some Cepacol lozenges for my throat.

Jacob Lopez51 said:The real deal when it comes to magnesium is the glycinate-lysinate form. You’re essentially looking at a molecule created by bonding glycine and lysine—both amino acids—with the magnesium itself.
Glycinate acts as an antagonist—which, in this context, is excellent for relaxation and improving sleep quality.

I personally take the version from NOW Foods—just one a day. If I were taking four doses daily, I’d probably be floating somewhere near the stratosphere.

As for zinc, I just started this supplement. I used to take Tribulus from IronMax before this, but this one is packed with a variety of ingredients all within tolerable dosage ranges—so we'll see how it goes. The reviews I've come across seem decent enough.

Started taking this zinc too. Used to take some Tribulus from IronMax before, but this one has a bit of everything in decent doses—we'll see how it goes, reviews seem pretty solid so far

NOW Foods is a solid brand. I usually take two tablets right before bed, so that's about 200mg.

As for the zinc, it's fine for a quick fix, but if you stay on it long-term, it'll deplete your copper and cause all sorts of issues. You really want that 15:1 ratio.

I usually just order my supplements from Amazon, Vitacost, or iHerb.

Jacob Lopez51, which specific NAC capsules are you taking—and where do you usually pick them up?

You can grab the 600mg ones from Vitamin Shoppe...
But honestly, I'm pretty consistent with my NAC routine—I usually order the 1-gram, 120-count bottles from Vitacost and just split them in half. It works better for me that way—I take 500mg twice a day, once in the morning and again around 4:00 PM.

Yeah. It'll get here via FedEx in about two days—shipping is like 9 bucks. The tablets are a little bulky, but you can manage—I just use a pill cutter to snap them in half. Those 600mg capsules come pre-mixed with selenium and molybdenum, so the mercury detox might actually work better that way. Doesn't matter if you have fillings or not; the only thing that really pulls mercury out of dental work is R-lipoic acid. Since I don't have any old amalgams left anyway, I'm totally fine just crushing the R-ALA. XD
