I mean, I honestly don't know how ESPN feels about hosting events with zero viewership (even if they aren't PPVs). It’s pretty obvious Dana is just checking a box here. Using the APEX is a dead giveaway—they won't even shell out for a decent arena, choosing to scrap it out in theater-style conditions with that tiny octagon instead. And look, this might just be my take as a casual fan, but while I feel like you need to be the absolute cream of the crop to make it onto the UFC roster, when you look at the guys outside the top 10 in HW, I don't really get the impression they're elite fighters anymore.
