Someone just nuked the "defunding fascism" thread. I’m looking for an actual explanation from the moderation team—not some random users acting like they run the place. Thanks.

I suggest we prevent this kind of confusion in the future. We should implement a way to clearly mark moderators, perhaps through their username or avatar, so they are easily distinguishable from regular users. A "Moderator" signature or a specific icon would work perfectly. I am unsure if this is technically feasible. 🤷

That was likely sarcasm, though I suppose one can never be too certain.
The moderator's username is black; that’s how you distinguish them from the rest of us.

What blackface? Black people for crying out loud. I honestly don't get why it's such a nightmare to find decent moderators, yet the admins only seem to bother changing things once someone dies of natural causes.
The red mods are obviously descendants of Native Americans; the purple ones are just like them, only they spent way too much time tanning under the sun while waiting for housing projects worthy of their high status.
As for the blue ones, they’re practically suffocating from jealousy seeing how the upper class lives, which explains why they've turned a bit blue themselves.

We don't exactly have a seat at the table for our yellow-skinned colleagues, but we certainly have plenty of yellow cards to go around. 🤷

The moderators on Reddit have that little crown icon next to their names... you know, that yellow one all the way on the right by Casey Bennett.
I guess supermoderators red have the yellow badge, while admins get the green one.
I guess some people just seem to have that same shade of green eyes, from what I've noticed.

Have you guys ever actually paid attention to those little icons on Reddit, or am I just the only one who's been struggling to make sense of them for months? 😁

That little orange icon on Reddit means the user is logging in via the mobile app without an active subscription... I only realized that because I noticed it while I was managing my own account and canceling my subscription. 😁

I don't mind getting a warning for off-topic posting... but I've actually been thinking about this for quite a while now. 😁
