Why can't we request a permanent ban?

So, here’s how you can basically request a permanent ban—this has always been an option, really. 🙂

You can always just request a password reset via email whenever you need to. It's really just a couple of extra clicks compared to your usual login process.🤷

Just swap out the email address and do the exact same thing with the password.

It’s basically the digital equivalent of walking over to the "Banned Users" thread and asking, "Hey, I don't think I belong here anymore, could you guys please unban me?"

The functionality is identical; you just aren't annoying everyone else by making them do the work for you.

Of course, the catch is that since you're doing this privately, nobody actually sees it happen... some people just live for the attention.

Why can't we just get a permanent ban on demand?
