That second topic has absolutely nothing to do with how the infection spreads, so there isn't much point looking for (regarding any education on the Corona virus) within the main 'Corona' subforum.

Regardless, the thread 'to pull the cat's whiskers' was only moved to the 'alternative' section of the main 'Corona' PDF due to current technical im/possibilities and various glitches.
This thread will be moved back to the 'Pets' subforum as soon as those technical hurdles are cleared up.

As for that specific thread, the site admins basically gagged me from sharing my thoughts as an American citizen, so I can't really comment there—but yeah, it's a joke if that's how they want to run things.

I got hit with a Parcial because I mentioned that a friend's cousin passed away right after getting vaccinated—which, let's be real, was likely a tragic coincidence.

Honestly, I saw this coming. Anyone who’s been following this saga from day one and watched how this forum morphed once the Corona stuff hit could've predicted this. After all those phases of playing games and "adjusting" the rules—if you want to be polite about them basically spitting on their own guidelines—we finally arrived at this stage of total infantile nonsense.

Props to some of the mods, especially our supermod Smart Mouth. She did the only logical thing: once she realized her own bias would mess with her ability to moderate fairly and rationally, she asked to step back from the Corona threads entirely. That's how you handle things.

Moderator Ego should've done the exact same thing, but hey, the name says it all. Instead of realizing he wasn't cut out to moderate a topic like Corona, he just let his ego run wild and enjoyed the ride.

Fast forward about two years, and everyone's finally realized there's no point in the panic or the constant arguing anymore. So now, all that's left is the "tee-hee, haha, lol" routine.

There's actually a psychological reason for this behavior too. It's called cognitive dissonance. After a while, people lose their grip. Since the mass extinction promised by the virus didn't happen, they don't feel the need to dodge info or arguments from the "other side" of the spectrum anymore. Now, they just pivot to this fake, affected wit and acting casual, like, "Oh, please, I knew it was all nonsense from the start." 🤣

Some people might use this cognitive dissonance as a chance to actually look in the mirror and face their own questionable stances and actions. Others? Well... they'll probably just stay moderators.
