Why was the "Natural Vaccine Detox" thread deleted?

So, two days ago on the Alternative subreddit, I started a thread about natural ways to detox from vaccines, and it was wiped clean after just one day without a single word of explanation. It didn't violate any Reddit rule, it wasn't offensive, and it wasn't aggressive—plus, I posted it in Alternative, which is exactly where natural healing belongs. Can someone please give me a serious explanation as to why my post was deleted? Thanks.

This topic is honestly way too much, even for Alternative. I thought about just walking away from it entirely, but it turned into a massive trolling spree so fast that there was no point in staying... nothing intelligent was ever going to come out of that mess anyway.

My apologies, I was absolutely certain you had. The thread was up for such a short window that it honestly just flashed before my eyes and then it was gone.

I don't buy that answer at all. On Alternative, people talk about everything from hallucinogenic mushrooms to shamanism, so how on earth can a thread about naturally detoxing your body from lab-made drugs or vaccines be considered "too much"?

I already mentioned above that I didn't even delete her because of what she was saying, but rather because she turned the whole thing into a trolling fest from the get-go, and there was just no saving it at that point...

Then why isn't it locked?

In my opinion, deleting threads that others actually want to discuss isn't right. If you think it's just trolling, then you don't have to participate, but at least let the people who genuinely want to contribute have their say.

There are warnings available for "trolling," aren't there?

Warnings are meant for those who go off-topic or derail the conversation, not for wiping an entire thread out of existence. That's just straight-up censorship.
