William Richardson12 said:Just wipe Windows, install every single driver, then hit me up. Thanks.

Fine, whatever. But I should probably mention that even if everything works perfectly right after I finish those installs, the second I shut down my PC and boot it back up, the exact same problem is going to happen again.

When you're doing a fresh install of Windows, just head over to the Gigabyte site and grab all the drivers and software your motherboard actually needs:

http://www.gigabyte.us/products/prod...px?pid=4015#dl

Honestly, it’s even easier if you just let their utility handle it. It'll scan your setup, figure out what's missing, and automate the whole installation process for you:

You might also want to run some diagnostics on your hard drive using tools like CrystalDiskInfo or HD Tune. Additionally, running MemTest is a great way to check your RAM integrity.

Hey guys, I’ve been thinking—it looks like he might be dealing with a failing hard drive, especially since everything seems to be lagging so much lately. 😁

Here you go... Every time I try to shut down my PC, it just refuses to fully power off.

How exactly is it not shutting down completely? Are the fans just spinning while the monitor stays black?

The screen just shows the shutdown animation and then stays stuck right there. I end up having to just hit the power button to force it off. What am I supposed to do about that? :/

I assume you’ve already tried a clean reinstall of Windows?

Always pulling from the exact same source? Go ahead, roll the dice and try a different version. 😁

I’ve already tried a different version and nothing changed... honestly, it looks like my best bet is just to take it to a repair shop and call it a day.

I have no clue what the issue is. Honestly, just take it to someone who actually knows their way around hardware, because trying to get anything useful out of you is an uphill battle given how little you seem to know about this stuff. Maybe the problem would be obvious if I could actually get my hands on that PC, but from here? It's impossible.

Maybe try downloading memtest and running a quick RAM stress test?
