Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some reliable online retailers for computer gear. I really want to pick up a pair of white SteelSeries Siberia v2 headphones, but I can't find them anywhere for under $200. When I check availability at Protis, Links, or Port, they only seem to have the black version in stock for $167.

As for Hgshop, their headset prices are ridiculous—they’re way over $217, sometimes even hitting that 7xx range.

Does anyone know of other shops that might carry these? I just need somewhere with reasonable shipping rates.

I honestly don't get the logic at Links, Protis, or Port. They only stock black and apparently aren't planning on ordering white from their suppliers, even if there's a customer ready to buy. :/

At this rate, my best bet is probably just ordering directly from the official SteelSeries site since they're only $200 including shipping.

So, please, send some recommendations my way for online stores where I can check if they actually have them in stock and what the damage will be.

Thanks in advance!

Send an email over to Uzishop and see if they can track it down. They don't deal with any of the local American importers, so there's a good chance they can snag something that isn't available here in the States.

You should definitely take a look at UziShop. Just a little heads-up if you decide to pull the trigger on an order there: make sure you sign up through PC Expert first, because they’ll toss you an extra 3% discount on top of everything else 👍

Inventory hits the stores through official distributors after we estimate our annual volume. We then split that into a few different shipments to manage the flow. Getting extra stock is pretty rare since it throws a wrench in our yearly procurement plan, though if there's an abundance available, we might grab more. But let's be real—nobody is going to place a special order just for one pair of headphones. The logistics process is basically the same whether it’s a tiny package or a massive shipping container, so those headphones would end up costing you a fortune...

The only thing the guys are suggesting is finding someone working outside the official distribution channels who buys from a wholesale distributor abroad and imports stock every couple of weeks or once a month...

Inventory hits the stores through official distributors. We estimate our annual volume, break it down into a few different shipments, and that’s how the stock arrives. Getting extra orders or additional shipments is rare because they aren't part of the yearly procurement plan, though it happens occasionally if we happen to have the stock on hand. But thinking someone would place an order for just a single pair of headphones? Not a chance. In principle, the process is the same whether it's a small package or a massive container of equipment, which makes those headphones incredibly expensive to move...

The only thing the guys are suggesting is that someone working outside the official distributor network could buy stock from a foreign wholesaler and then import it every two weeks or once a month...

I have a feeling that Nina (Uzishop) might be able to put in a special order if they allow for customizations like that.

It wouldn't hurt for them to send over a quick email just to check; there’s really nothing lost in asking.

I don't get how they claim to have no stock when it's an online store, and there aren't even any domestic distributors to pull from. It seems like they're constantly placing orders from overseas instead. I honestly have no clue how their logistics actually work.

Shipping to the end customer takes a maximum of 10 business days from the date the payment clears.

If a product is available in German, French, or Italian shops, there's a 90% chance he can get his hands on it—meaning his suppliers in those countries carry it.

I just sent an inquiry over to UziShop. Thanks for the tip—hopefully they'll have 🕺

But like I mentioned, when I asked about the headphones, I was only looking for a different color. Their inventory shouldn't really change because they're the EXACT same headset, just a different shade. They carry black, but white isn't an option... they can't get their hands on white right now. Honestly, no matter how complicated their supply chain is, it shouldn't be so difficult to swap out a color; the components, price, quality, shipping, and everything else remain identical 😵

That isn't necessarily the case, though. Sometimes, even something as simple as switching from black to white can actually result in a difference in price... 👍

Don't act shocked if the frame prices vary just because the colors change. Same goes for headphones.
