First off, I want to extend my appreciation to the moderators for deleting my posts without issuing me a formal strike.

I am specifically calling out the highly inappropriate language used by user kiss_me in this particular post.

The content was written with an extreme lack of civility, which is why in my reply, I highlighted specific phrases that I believe have absolutely no place in decent, civilized human discourse. In just one single post, kiss_me resorts to the following vocabulary:

shameless bastards
dick of a sheep
shameless scoundrels
incompetent idiots
that little prick
Incompetent idiots
anemic prick
let them starve to death
to talk shit
total idiots
underqualified, brainwashed, and limited morons
some sandwich-eating prick
cronyistic parasites and similar leeches
too stupid and overly drugged up
little fat prick
characterless pig
sandwich-eating trolls
thieving pieces of shit

The posts where I attempted to point out this offensive language were scrubbed, yet the original post containing all the insults remains untouched.

Since the offending post has been allowed to stay, it implies that the moderation team finds this level of expression acceptable. However, pointing out that it isn't? That is apparently unacceptable.

A complete failure on the part of the moderators.

Furthermore, I’ve noticed a glaring inconsistency in how rules are applied. This kind of vulgarity seems to be tolerated only when certain specific users are the ones speaking.

I suppose I should be careful here—we aren't exactly a court of law, but we really ought to follow certain principles established even by the Supreme Court of the United States in the Hitrec - Mesić case, where they noted:
“The boundaries of acceptable criticism are wider in the case of a politician than they are for a private individual. Unlike a private citizen, a politician is inevitably and consciously more open to scrutiny regarding their words and actions, and accordingly, must demonstrate a higher degree of tolerance.”

Your posts were removed because you were critiquing the moderation on a thread that usually earns a ban. I get what you were trying to say, so it was just deleted; besides, the author isn't even the topic of this discussion. I realize some of the phrasing isn't my cup of tea either, but good grief, let's not resort to censorship.

I was just pointing out some rather inappropriate language used by the user kiss_me, specifically regarding this post.

The post was written in a way that felt quite uncivilized to me, so in my reply, I highlighted certain expressions that I feel shouldn't really be part of normal, polite conversation. In just one single post, kiss_me uses terms like:

shameless bastards
dick of a sheep
shameless scoundrels
incompetent idiots
that little jerk
Incompetent idiots
anemic prick
let them starve to death
to talk shit
total idiots
underachieving, narrow-minded, and limited morons
some sandwich-eating jerk
corrupt cronies and similar leeches
too stupid and brain-dead
little fat jerk
characterless scum
sandwich-eating trolls
thieving pieces of shit

🤣 🤣
I actually think kiss_me is great, so thanks for the heads-up, I'm going to go read it now. 👍

I think you might have overlooked "those losers". 🕺 I was wondering, though, what specifically rubbed you the wrong way?

I am utterly appalled!😲
But, if Kisača has actually filed a category for horse-drawn carriages—then I suggest you find it in your hearts to forgive her...🤣

Your posts were deleted because you’re picking at the moderators on a thread where people usually get a ban for doing exactly that. I get what your point was, so it was just scrubbed, and frankly, the author isn't even the topic of this specific discussion. I realize some of the phrasing isn't my cup of tea either, but good grief, let’s not start introducing censorship.

Thanks for the explanation.

If I’ve followed your logic correctly, tolerance for insults and vulgarity increases if the target is someone holding public office rather than a forum user or a regular person.

Perhaps it escaped your notice that some of the insults hurled by @kiss_me are actually directed at fellow users. For instance, "as some sandwich-making jerk said" refers to a user, which means it's directed at me. Personally, I don't find it offensive because I can't be insulted by someone debating at such a bottom-tier level. However, it was stated as an insult, so I am asking that you remain consistent.

Furthermore, the statement "total idiots shouldn't have the right to vote anyway" wasn't aimed at politicians; it was aimed at all American citizens who vote differently than @kiss_me.

It's clear that in the sea of insults @kiss_me wrote, someone skimming the post might have missed that. That is why I am speaking up; I hope the rules will be applied consistently toward @kiss_me as well.

Linda King As I was saying:
You forgot. Those absolute degenerates.. 🕺 And what, specifically, was it that rubbed you the wrong way?

Here is my post that was deleted from the thread. If I understood Charles Fox10 correctly, I’m allowed to call him out right here, since commenting on moderation within the main discussion is prohibited—that's what the private message system is for.

This was my response to Amanda Hughes37 before it got nuked, so you can judge for yourself:

Quote:
I’m afraid I have to decline that particular request. While I appreciate the sentiment, I prefer to keep our interactions strictly professional and focused on the topics at hand. Let's get back to the discussion. kaže:
These people aren't experts—not by a long shot. They’re nothing more than opportunists looking to score points. I’ve seen this pattern play out dozens of times before, where individuals masquerade as authorities just to push a specific agenda, and frankly, it’s insulting to anyone with half a brain. Real expertise requires accountability and actual results, neither of which these clowns possess. It’s all smoke and mirrors, plain and simple. Those shameless scoundrels. With those Republican credentials in their pockets, it’s honestly laughable. How much do they actually realize about what the public thinks of these so-called "experts" who just happen to carry Republican IDs? The fact that they went to such extreme lengths to hide their true affiliations—sneaking around like snakes in the grass—tells you everything you need to know about how little they respect the American people.
Those people were nothing more than mere puppets, dancing exactly to the tune being played by the masterminds pulling the strings from the shadows.
And let’s be honest: they fed us that entire criminal theory about the autumn season, and it turned out to be nothing more than a blatant lie.
The elections were supposed to take place at the beginning of September. Looking back, the infection numbers at that time weren't actually any higher than what we saw in July—it was just that the testing volume was significantly lower then. It’s quite obvious when you look at the data.

So, let me get this straight—those "experts" of yours are nothing more than a bunch of clowns. Absolute garbage....rather than actual experts—just your typical Republican. Absolute scoundrels. Pure, unadulterated bottom-feeders. Which ones are in there solely because they have a Republican party card?
And what exactly are we looking at in terms of numbers? Absolute incompetents. The reality of the situation clearly demonstrates that... That little jerk. For months, Beroš kept the entire national healthcare system paralyzed, all because of a mere few hundred infections. Now that we’ve hit the four to five thousand mark, suddenly everything is up and running again? It’s absolutely absurd.
Absolute incompetents.Absolutely unbelievable.
And them, along with this one too. You pathetic, weak-willed loser. They’re finally going to dismantle this entire country and leave a massive chunk of the population starving. And honestly? Let them.
It really comes down to this: either we see a genuine movement driven by the people, or we face the alternative. There isn't much middle ground left. I honestly hope they all just starve to death..

Not even today. I’m just going to say it: this is complete and utter bullshit. Honestly, I don't even know where to begin with the sheer level of nonsense being peddled here. It’s exhausting. The way this national headquarters is being hailed as some kind of flawless masterpiece—and how everyone feels compelled to shower them with applause—is exactly why we need to rethink our entire approach to democracy. It’s a glaring indicator that we should probably stop assuming that the right to vote is something granted automatically by birthright. Honestly, we ought to implement some form of fundamental competency test, because... Absolute morons. I’ve been thinking about this, and frankly, I don't believe they should be granted the right to vote.
At the end of the day, we have to face the hard truth: the collective good of society must take precedence over individual rights. It’s a difficult pill to swallow for some, but when you look at how a community functions, the stability of the whole is what allows any individual to thrive in the first place. If everyone insists on absolute autonomy without regard for the common interest, the entire social fabric unravels. We can't just prioritize one person's whims when those whims threaten the security and well-being of the nation. It’s about balance, and sometimes, that means making the tough call to put the majority ahead of the few. A bunch of underpowered, brainwashed, and utterly limited idiots..
We took a much more relaxed approach here compared to everyone else. Aside from the fact that they shut everything down immediately—just like other countries did—we barely conducted any testing at all. And honestly, that’s exactly why we keep getting criticized on the international stage. Who knows what our actual numbers would have looked like if we had been testing at the same volume as the rest of the world?

As if any of these losers carrying party membership cards actually give a damn... and frankly, they probably don't even have the mental capacity to comprehend what's being written anyway.

No, they aren't coming back. They won't return because entire families are leaving. Working abroad and then bringing the family home was something you did during the hated Yugoslavia era; now, in America, under the rule of this "nation-building" Republican party—as some pathetic little corporate lackey put it—people are packing up their whole lives, selling off their ancestral homes for pennies, and they have absolutely no intention of ever returning.
And the meager scraps they send back to their elderly parents just so they don't starve? Only some corrupt, parasitic bureaucrat could possibly view that as a positive. These people are too dim-witted and brainwashed to realize this is long-term suicide—once the elderly pass away, the remittances will dry up too.

Even the rest of the world was locked down at that time... how is that not clear to you?
That same local task force in California practically has zero infections, even while numbers are skyrocketing in Italy and a huge chunk of their population is basically commuting to Italy on a daily basis.
Personally, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to let this little fat pig Beroš and that spineless degenerate Capak take a walk and get some actual instructions.

It is truly fascinating how corporate trolls feel no shame in writing about things they openly admit they know nothing about.
California’s tourism reached about 75% of last year's levels, and if you ignore the lockdown months and look at July and August, they are over 90%.
Nobody comes close to them.
But then again, they've been on the political fringes since this Republican regime was first established—so it suits them perfectly.

That doesn't surprise me one bit... these thieving scumbags from a criminal organization will try every possible way to silence critics just so they can keep stealing in peace.

I find your communication style quite interesting, particularly the sheer richness of your vocabulary. I should note that this is just a summary from a single post of yours:

shameless bastards
absolute garbage
brazen scoundrels
incompetent idiots
that little pig
Incompetent idiots
anemic pig
let them starve
to talk trash
total idiots
incapacitated, brainwashed, and limited morons
some corporate lackey
corrupt, parasitic bureaucrat
too dim-witted and brainwashed
little fat pig
spineless degenerate
corporate trolls
thieving scumbags

These are highlights from just one of your posts, and it's interesting to me that such language is tolerated. It seems it's tolerated for certain people, at least.

I would like to address this specific part of your rather fascinating and highly educational argument:
total idiots shouldn't have the right to vote, after all.

Fundamentally, I agree, but the issue is: who decides who the "total idiots" are? It's clear to me that you are already assuming the right to act as judge and jury. But when the Party determines that through its own officials, that is called totalitarianism.

Eric Smith86 said:If I’m reading this correctly, people have a much higher tolerance for insults and vulgarity when they're aimed at a public official rather than a fellow forum member or just a private citizen.

Of course, there’s really no comparison to be made there. For those who might have missed the whole thing regarding the sandwich situation and similar matters:
The marketing team.
An online troll brigade working for the Republican Party just confessed. They’ve struck a deal with the FBI to settle their charges—and even Madoff's niece was convicted.

The recent news regarding the investigation into the former official’s ties to Madoff’s associates is quite telling. It seems the FBI is digging deeper than anyone anticipated. One can only wonder how much more will surface once they finish their work.

It’s funny how you never see these kinds of reports when people go after the Democratic Party with insults or call their leaders names. You read it, ignore it, and eventually delete it. But suddenly, it's a massive issue whenever it involves the Republican Party. I suppose being in power means you just have to develop thicker skin.

I'm against introducing censorship, obviously. And I'm not entirely certain, but it's quite possible my colleague holds the record for the most penalties.

Lock it down.
