Folks, this is happening. What on earth is going on?

Ugh, I keep getting hit with this 504 error constantly—not totally sure if that's actually what's causing the issue though...

It happened to me too... one refresh and it's gone. We'll find out what went down—or what's about to go down—soon enough.

It honestly took me a good hour or so to figure this out. At first, I thought a simple page refresh might do the trick, then I tried double-checking the main address, but after that... nothing worked at all.
Down at the bottom of the page—and it’s not even a pop-up, just part of the layout—it says I can shoot an email to the forum admin if I feel like I didn't actually do anything to trigger the block, since I usually follow the rules.
And believe me, I really didn't 😁

To really pin down what’s causing the block—whether it’s Cloudflare, your ISP, the forum itself, or some other random glitch—the tech guys are going to need a bit more intel. They'll want to know which browser you're running and who your service provider is, plus whether you've already tried switching up your IP or giving your home router a good old-fashioned restart to see if that clears things up. If you'd rather not air your business here in the public thread, feel free to just shoot me a private message instead, and I'll make sure to pass all those details along to them.

It blocked me too. Tried various OSs and different browsers.

MacOS Mojave 10.14.6, browsers: Safari, Brave, Chrome
Windows 10, Chrome
Android x 2 - Brave, Apple OS iOS
iOS - Brave and Safari

carriers: AT&T and Comcast

I guess I restarted the routers and devices, tried changing IP addresses, but it was all the same. Maybe it lasted nearly 2 hours.

Would anyone be willing to post a full screenshot instead of just this little snippet of a notification?

Chris Myers, thanks so much!

No, I only cropped out the specific part you can see here.
I didn't go as far as actually power cycling my AT&T router or anything. Honestly, I really don't think the issue lies with the provider or even the OS itself 🤷

It just lasted for a few hours, and then it completely vanished—it hasn't happened again since yesterday.

The 5xx series represents errors stemming from data redundancy issues. If my memory serves me correctly, physical layer failures manifest as 502 and 510 errors. It all depends on whether the direction of travel is toward or away from the host.
