Notifications and watched threads

just joined the party... quick question: where on earth can I find my own posts? Or even the replies I've left on them? Also, does anyone actually get a notification when someone quotes their comment?

It’s quite simple, really: just subscribe to the threads you actually participate in or find interesting.
To subscribe: go to the top right of any thread -> Topic Tools -> Subscribe to this topic.

Once you've added everything of interest to your subscriptions, just click on Options (that blue bar at the top, first menu on the left) when you log onto the forum, and you'll see a list of all the threads and subforums you've followed. Threads are automatically filtered to show you new posts, though for subforums, you'll still have to click in to see if there's anything fresh.

If you want to jump straight to the very first new post in a thread, just click the little blue house icon next to the thread title.

Look, I actually do use it—ever since my emails stopped working properly—but I just clicked through to the last page because I was trying to find exactly where I had left off reading.🕺
