So, quick question for everyone—when you were first signing up for this forum, did you just use your main everyday email? Or did you go full undercover and create some random burner account just for the registration process so you wouldn't have to deal with it later?
Trust me, I know the drill—I used to be a supermod with admin privileges back in the day, so I’ve handled plenty of requests just like yours! Personally, I never just handed out someone's direct email address. Instead, I'd reach out to the person asking and explain exactly who they were trying to get ahold of and why they wanted to connect—then I'd let them decide if they wanted to pass their info along.
They weren't exactly jumping on the phone or getting back to anyone—especially not the people reaching out for the exact reasons I laid out over in post #2!
If all else fails, try posting that stuff right here—specifically in those threads where you’ve been most active or where you’ve already been chatting about this exact topic. There’s a way better shot at someone actually reading your plea that way, especially if they already know you or have a direct line to the person you're trying to reach!
