Best laptop for streaming?

Hey everyone—I'm looking to pick up a laptop for my old lady to use for streaming stuff online. Not for me, obviously, just for her. Ideally, I want something budget-friendly where the price-to-performance ratio actually makes sense. Looking to stay around the $200-$210 mark. $733

Forget about quality at that price point. Just make sure it has at least an N5000 processor so you aren't stuck staring at a loading screen all day. An SSD? Yeah, good luck with that.

If I were you, I’d skip the cheap junk and look for a used business laptop—maybe a MacBook Pro or something similar.

The New Guy, Windows somehow activated itself on that used PC. No clue why.

Windows is free to download; you just need a key to activate it.

Grab the OS from the Microsoft site. Download this media creation tool to make an installation drive using a USB stick (at least 8GB) or a DVD.

Even if you don't activate it after installing, about 95% of the functions still work—you'll just have a permanent watermark stuck in the bottom right corner.

You can pick up an activation key on eBay for about $5.
Just enter it during setup, or later on if you skipped the code during installation.
