Nicolas Cage? Is this some kind of joke?

Wouldn't it be ideal if this were a high-budget production, perhaps reaching the $200 million mark?

The animation is absolutely stunning, but honestly? I couldn't care less about the actual movie.

The first reviews are out, and they are looking incredible. Some people are actually going as far as saying this is the best Spider-Man film ever made. It’s sitting at a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes right now.
Now I'm just feeling even more frustrated knowing it's going to be dubbed when it hits theaters here in the States. For me, that kind of thing totally ruins the whole experience.

I mean, do you think they’ll actually release the version with the original audio in theaters? I know there were some movies where they did that, so maybe it's possible, I guess...

Look, it actually says so right there on the poster under the announcement. I honestly figured since Wreck-it Ralph didn't have subtitles, this one wouldn't either. But if that's the case, then great, I'm pretty much looking forward to checking it out.
Plus Aquaman that same weekend 😁

The reviews for this flick are absolutely skyrocketing. Honestly, I didn't see that coming. Based on the trailers alone, the whole thing looked pretty mediocre and uninspiring to me, but now that I'm seeing the buzz, I'm actually genuinely intrigued. I think I might just have to give it a watch. 🤔

Honestly, this movie is great—way more fun than plus Aquaman...

My very first thought was basically, "Wait, what am I watching? Is this just some kid's cartoon?!?" 😬 — but by the time the credits rolled, I was totally sold. It’s actually really good.

If this stuff is meant for adults, why do they insist on dubbing everything? It just makes it harder to follow.

Then again, our audience for this kind of thing is pretty small, so I guess it makes sense they’d include it for the kids.

Has anyone had a chance to check out the dubbed version yet? My local AMC doesn't seem to have the subtitled cut playing, so I was wondering if the dub is actually watchable or if it's worth sitting through.

Such an entertaining little movie. I really loved the plot and how the characters connect... their individual motivations felt genuine, too. I especially liked those recurring motifs, like when they introduce each different version of Spider-Man. That final suit? Absolutely stunning. Visually, everything is just top-tier. Even the story holds together better than most films I've seen lately...

Visually, this movie is an absolute treat, but it’s so much more than just eye candy! Sony (yes, Sony!) has really raised the bar here, making those Disney CG remakes of classic animated films look pretty uninspired by comparison.

They clearly brought in some top-tier artists for this project, and you can tell just how much heart and soul went into crafting that unique aesthetic. For the last 5 to 10 years, the industry seems to have gotten stuck in a loop of standard CG animation—it became the status quo. But Sony just proved that there is still plenty of room to be creative and break the mold!

In fact, I really hope this inspires other studios to start blending traditional animation styles with CG again, pushing the boundaries of what animation can actually achieve.

Bottom line? Highly recommended. 👍 My only regret is that I didn't catch this on the big screen at AMC Theatres. 😢
